Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy for the Africa region in collaboration with business leaders to address their hiring needs and align with global and regional objectives.
Own the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates across various roles and levels, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and best practices alignment.
Partner with universities, career forums, and relevant institutions to enhance our employer branding and attract top talent, showcasing our values, culture, and career opportunities.
Proactively build and maintain a strong talent pipeline by identifying and engaging potential candidates and nurturing relationships with key talent communities and industry networks.
Collaborate closely with business leaders, HR partners, and hiring managers to understand their talent needs and provide strategic guidance on talent acquisition, acting as a trusted advisor and influencer.
Leverage country-level knowledge to upskill and enhance the capabilities of the extended talent acquisition team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
You will bring
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Professional certifications such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP are a plus.
Proven experience in talent acquisition, preferably in a multinational organization operating in the Africa region.
In-depth knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, including sourcing techniques, assessment methods, and employer branding strategies.
Strong understanding of the African job market, including cultural nuances, legal requirements, and industry trends.
Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with business leaders, HR partners, and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to drive results and achieve targets in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and recommendations to senior leaders.
Fluency in English is required: proficiency in other languages spoken in key markets within the Africa region is highly desirable.
Willingness to travel within the Africa region as needed.
