    Talent Manager

    Team Africa is a venture builder, we co-create the technology businesses of tomorrow alongside other companies and entrepreneurs. We search for defendable niches and either build out opportunities ourselves or partner with other world-leading organisations to ensure success. We measure the result of our efforts not just by the multiples we aim to return, but by the pride we take in what these companies build. 

    We are looking for someone to monitor all aspects of recruitment across our portfolio of companies. You will act as a consultant for senior managers on everything people from company culture, HR administration, Recruitment and retention.

    Responsibilities:

    • Recruitment of candidates within required timelines
    • Source and maintain a bench of quality candidates
    • Maintenance of Team Africa Ventures employee brand and channels as well as those of TAV’s subsidiaries.
    • Reporting regularly on HR metrics e.g. recruitment KPIs and staff turnover
    • Maintenance of employee records including contracts, leave and performance related documentation
    • Preparing and amending where necessary HR documents, i.e. employment contracts and recruitment guides
    • Reviewing and renewing company policies and legal compliance related to HR
    • Communicating with external partners related to Recruitment and Human Resources management, e.g. Universities, LinkedIn
    • Being the first point of contact for employees on any HR related queries
    • Assisting with payroll by providing the department with relevant employee information, i.e. holiday and sick days taken
    • Helping with various HR related tasks including travel and processing expenses
    • Ensure all aspects of performance management is being fulfilled and adhered to relating to company policies, employee contracts and HR best practice. Oversee the training of managers on policy and procedures.

    Requirements:

    • Startup hiring experience
    • Excellent reporting and time management
    • HR experience beneficial
