Job Purpose

• To monitor the cleaners and to ensure that the building is well maintained in respect of cleanliness and in accordance with the health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Prepares for the days work.
• Oversee on the job performance of staff.
• Providing the Administration Officer with daily reports.
• Ensuring compliance to the Occupational Health and Safety Act (1993) and Regulations.
• Monitor the cleaning of the building.
• In the absence of the Handyman, assists by conducting weekly checks in respect of the standby equipment.
• Submit daily reports to the Administration Officer of any defaults that have been discovered for corrective action.

Essential Requirements

• Grade 10 or equivalent.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• 6 Months relevant experience.

Preferred Requirements

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• 1 Year relevant experience
