    Team Leader: Parts

    Generic Job Outputs

    Process

    • Assist in managing efforts to improve current sales of parts , products and accessories that can potentially lead to higher profitability and improved client satisfaction.
    • Ensure housekeeping standards are consistently mantained.
    • Ensure that the right equipment is used as required by M standards
    • Execute own and team work in line with governance and compliance processes.
    • Identify and apply known solutions to operational problems within the team environment and escalate unresolved issues.
    • Manage all the activities of the bin audit and stock take process ensuring accuracy and escalate any issues.
    • Manage and monitor relevant safety regulations and occupational health and safety compliance and report any incidents and accidents.
    • Monitor and report on own and team's transactional activities to provide timely information for decision making in area of accountability.
    • Monitor shelf life parts and follow the M process accordingly.
    • Perform spot checks on the binning process.
    • Plan, coordinate and deliver own and team activities to ensure that agreed standards and operational objectives are met.
    • Provide advice and support to internal and external stakeholders on parts, products and accessories to maximise profits and to ensure client satisfaction.
    • Support the parts manager to ensure parts, products and accessories are available on time to customers.

    FINANCE

    • Control stock holding and stock demand management in compliance with standard operating procedures.
    • Coordinate and monitor daily work activities within the team environment in order to prevent financial losses.

    CLIENT

    • Deliver services and/or products that create a culture which aims to meet or exceed customers' expectations in the business.
    • Coordinate team activities to meet and exceed customer expectations.

    PEOPLE

    • Act as change agent and provide support to the team throughout the implementation of identified change initiatives
    • Coordinate and participate in learning interventions to establish a learning and growth culture within the team
    • Own and live up to company

    Minimum requirements

    • 2-3 years in similar role
    • Automotive motor mechanical qualification advantageous
