Team Leader Production: ASSP LINE at The Coca-Cola Company

KEY PURPOSE

• To lead and develop the team to manufacture quality product as per line specific benchmark standards (world class).

Key Duties & Responsibilities    
Key Outputs and Accountabilities

•  Developed and monitored team goals
•  Preparation, start-up, monitoring, execution and reporting of production runs including all usages and equipment related problems and solutions
•  Supervision and preparation for maintenance plan, maintenance execution and after maintenance line startup as per schedule
•  Delegated and monitored work activities including management of usages, change overs, tables of deviation from standards and corrective action plan
•  Accountable for Quality and Safety compliance, production and maintenance reporting and data recording
•  Assessed candidates for knowledge and capability including Support and coach team members
•  Communicated manufacturing information including participation and holding SBT Meeting, technical meeting and maintenance meeting attendance as per policy
•  Managed team relationships
•  Enforced and maintained safe work area
•  Supported and implemented change interventions
•  Managed personal development and performance
•  Equipment maintenance and first line of trouble shooting including situational problems solving

Judgement and decision making

•  Supports the intent of ensuring that the functional solution integrates into the broader CCBSA vision and strategy
•  Has joint accountability to ensure that Manufacturing and Packaging performance related outputs, compliance to quality and safety solutions are delivered on time.
•  Compliance to cost management relating to budget and meets the requirements of the Manufacturing and technical function.
•  Has authority to execute changes in order to ensure manufacturing uptime is maintained, cost optimisation, systemic problem solving and team development and collaboration without adversely affecting CCBSA system integrity

Skills, Experience & Education    
Qualifications and Experience

•  Qualified artisan (N6) and/or 3 year relevant technical/production related tertiary qualification
•  3 years technical and leadership experience in a FMCG environment
•  Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and food safety standards
•  Knowledge of the Coca-Cola Kore processes and procedures
