    Technical Document Coordinator

    Main Purpose of the Job

    • Maintaining and managing the technical documentation that supports our projects and processes.
    • This role is responsible for ensuring that our documentation is accurate, consistent, and up-to-date, while also adhering to company standards and industry regulations.
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be vital in coordinating document creation, revisions, and approvals.

    Education, experience and competencies

    • 3-year Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in document editing and formatting software.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
    • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to documentation.
    • Previous experience in technical writing or document coordination.

    Responsibilities

    • Document Management: Create, format, and edit technical documents such as manuals, user guides, specifications, and procedures.
    • Organize and maintain a centralized repository for all technical documents, ensuring easy access and version control.
    • Content Coordination: Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather accurate and relevant information for document creation and updates.
    • Ensure that all technical content is clear, concise, and accurately represents the subject matter.
    • Review and Approval: Facilitate the review process for technical documents, coordinating feedback from stakeholders and SMEs.
    • Implement revisions based on feedback and ensure documents are approved by the appropriate parties.
    • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of documentation to verify accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
    • Identify and correct any inconsistencies, errors, or outdated information. 
    • Template Development: Create and maintain document templates to ensure consistency in formatting and branding across all technical documents.
    • Training and Support: Provide guidance and training to team members on document creation, formatting, and version control processes. Address questions and concerns related to document management.
