You will be working for the leading Corporate and Investment Bank and one of the largest financial services groups in Africa.
You will be trained for 14 weeks to provide the full set of Tech Ops skills you will need. Before being deployed on to the project.
Your main responsibilities will be to support traders on the platforms they use to execute their daily business within the financial markets. This will involve dealing with real-time problems by applying business knowledge to software incidents, through investigating issues to find solutions and also proactively applying them in a timely manner. You will have to communicate efficiently with all levels of seniority and think outside the box to ensure smooth running of the financial platforms which are vital to the business.

Responsibilities
Stakeholder management
Investigating, diagnosing, and resolving incidents
Follow the incident management process
Adhere to the agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs)
Escalating incidents to higher-level support teams when necessary
About You
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree grade 60% or above in Finance, Maths or Computer Science discipline
Strong skills in SQL, UNIX and Maths
Eligibility to work in South Africa
English level B2 or higher
Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Interest in finance and capital markets
Commitment to a 24-months contract with FDM upon completion of the training period
