Technician Assistant - Midrand at Alstom

The main purpose of this role is to assist the team with general tasks during Corrective and Preventative Maintenance by following instructions from the team members.

These roles will be based at the Gautrain Maintenance Depot in Midrand, Johannesburg. 

YOUR ROLE:

• Ensure compliance to safety and quality rules and regulations at all times
• Perform physical work tasks
• General housekeeping
• Effective teamwork and self-management
• Can be subjected to lifting of heavy objects
• Could work shifts which include weekends, night work, overtime and public holidays.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grade 12.
• Rail/ Production experience will be an advantage.
• Fit and robust.
• South African citizen
• Ability to see in colour
• Ability to work at heights
• Good hearing (exposure to noise)
