Role Requirements

• To thrive in this role, you are required to hold a National Diploma in Medical Technology / BHSc MLS with HPCSA registration as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist. You will also need to have a valid South African drivers license: Code B along with your own reliable transportation. These qualifications ensure you are equipped with the foundational knowledge and professional standing to deliver confidently in a dynamic laboratory environment. You bring 0 - 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar pathology environment. This experience enables you to navigate the laboratory with confidence, contribute meaningfully from day one, and grow within a culture that values continuous learning and leadership accountability.

Skills Requirements

• Success in this role is built on a strong foundation of essential skills. You are fluent in English and Afrikaans, both written and spoken, and possess basic typing and computer literacy to manage digital workflows efficiently. Your numerical reasoning skills allow you to perform calculations with accuracy, supporting the integrity of laboratory results. These capabilities are key to delivering high-quality service and fostering a collaborative, empowered workplace.
