Packaging development, with respect to legislation, functionality, business objectives and shelf life.
Supplier management and ensure suppliers provide high quality, safe products consistently and according to Woolworths standards.
Educate, inform and share knowledge / information with team members, suppliers and the organisation appropriately.
Build customer trust by ensuring foods safety, quality and consistency of products, and preventing re-occurrence of noncompliance.
Supporting the new product development process for leading edge, innovative and high-quality products.
Align with sustainability objectives by promoting responsible raw material sourcing and supplier compliance with environmental and ethical policies.
Support direct and secondary farmers through the Farming for the future and Factory for the future program.
Effective engagement across foods as well as cross functional collaboration.
Industry Expertise: 3-5 years of relevant experience in food industry roles, with knowledge across a variety of products. Understanding of high/low-risk processing and technical processes (HACCP, GMP, Supply Chain).
Technical Knowledge: Strong technical product knowledge, including raw material sourcing, manufacturing processes, quality, and safety parameters. Familiarity with packaging functionality and its applications in food products.
Problem Solving & Multitasking: Proven ability to identify and solve issues collaboratively with team and suppliers. Effective multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced, pressured environment.
Teamwork & Communication: Team player who can work effectively with diverse groups. Strong communication skills with an assertive approach and conflict handling abilities.
