    Temporary Export Administration - Paarl

    Purpose: The aim is to provide complete documentation support and maintain congruence with the goals of the exports team. There will be on-the-job training offered for this purpose.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 with a tertiary qualification
    • Possess excellent administrative and organizational skills
    • Have proficiency in computer usage

     Skills Required:

    • Having exposure in customs compliance and SAD500’s framing will be beneficial.
    • Being able to generate export certificates is essential.
    • Understanding legislative requirements that pertain to the South African Wine Industry backed by experience would definitely make you stand out.
    • Prior knowledge of freight forwarding practices could prove highly advantageous.
    • Demonstrable computer literacy skills, especially proficiency in Excel are mandatory
    • Illustrating an understanding of ethical business practices can give a competitive edge over others applying for this role.
    • Sound verbal communication as well as exceptional written correspondence ability needed

    Job Summary:

    • Providing assistance to the team in handling export documentation and processes such as notification, declaration of loading, and export certificates.
    • Completion of SAD500’s, EUR.1 certificates, and SADC certificates
    • Verifying loading documents that are sent to KWV’s warehouse
    • Making sure customs acquittal documents are uploaded on time to the departmental internal drive
    • Examining files thoroughly for all required documentation
    • Conducting cross-checks within departments regarding file preservation
    • Ensuring up-to-date information about stack dates, vessel departures along courier deadlines is available
    • Collaborating seamlessly with Customs & Excise teams pertaining to justifiable material
