Trainee Quality Systems Specialist at Nestle

Position Summary

As a Trainee Quality Systems Specialist at Nestlé, you’re responsibility is to assess and review the correct implementation of the ISO9001 elements and provide management information on the level of compliance and efficiency. Provide assistance for improving the efficiency of implemented Quality System elements. Manage the factory audit team. Develop and maintain the Factory Quality Manual and related documentation. You will also be accountable for the achievement and maintenance of the ISO9001 implementation. 

A day in the life of...

Leadership

• Coordinate all activities related to the setup and maintenance of the Factory Quality Manual.
• Ensure that Quality instructions and procedures are updated. (CTT)
• Develop a Quality System Audit team and audit plan.
• Ensure that the Audit plan is carried out.
• Manage and drive the Corrective action system to ensure that all corrective actions are carried out in time and Q Notifications closed on SAP
• Assess the effectiveness of the corrective actions.
• Inform and update the Management on all activities and trends pertaining to the Quality Management System.
• Assist in the preparation of the factory MRQ.
• Ensure improvement and performance of the Quality System is assessed.
• Drive the execution of the SQA program within the factory with feedback to corporate
• Coordination of the factory traceability program and improvement thereof

Technical Assistance

• Factory QA: Conduct health checks for Quality and escalate non-compliances for closure
• Application groups; Provides the Applications group with support on setup of new materials and products
• GLOBE QMS: Drive the implementation, management and update of the G-QMS system
• Supply Chain & Export: Ensure GRPT targets for release are maintained

What will make you successful

• Degree/Diploma in Chemistry, Microbiology or Food Science
• 2years experience in the related field
• ISO 9001 certification
• SAP knowledge and experience essential
