Tutor | Waterkloof | R250 Per Hour at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Waterkloof
• Child’s Age: 14 year old (Grade 9) - Girl
• Child’s Neurodivergence Snapshot: ADHD and Reading difficulties. Very smart girl, copes well. Just needs someone help keep her on track.
• Support Style: Did attend visual therapy (tracking issues), unmedicated.
• Working hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 17:30 – 19:00 (slightly flexible around extra murals)
• School holiday hours: Not required
• Duties: Provide support across all Grade 9 subjects, helping with homework, organization, and time management to keep the student on track. Offer targeted assistance for reading difficulties, using strategies to improve comprehension and vocabulary, and adapt teaching methods to suit her learning style and attention needs. Monitor progress, provide feedback, encourage focus and independent learning, and assist with test and exam preparation.
• Special Requirements: 25 and older women, reliable, responsible, motivated, patient and caring.
• School/Curriculum: IEB
• Start Date and contract term: ASAP – permanent
• Salary: R250 per hour

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
