    UI-UX Designer

    Job Description:
    You will be required to do the following:

    • Collaborate with the UX Research team on quantitative and qualitative research to generate meaningful insights and new concepts.
    • Propose, create, and prototype a range of high-level visual concepts, ensuring a user-centered design approach.
    • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and rapid prototypes that are optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces and provide an intuitive user-experience.
    • Create detailed UI designs for the product and development team.
    • Elicit needs and draw on user research and insights to create user journeys and user stories.
    • Test ideas with product teams, iterating designs based on findings and feedback.
    • Interact with UX Community to understand the growing needs for designers.

    This role is in the Engineering Department on a Band 6 and will be reporting to Principal Data Analyst - Business Improvement

    Qualifications:
    You will need the following Qualification and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • A strong UX portfolio is essential
    • 5+ years of experience as a UI-UX Designer

    Technical Knowledge:

    • Significant knowledge and experience with driving and applying user-cantered design processes while working collaboratively with product teams, along with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, marketing, digital adoption team and user research.
    • Sound knowledge and experience in creating solutions and flows for multiple platforms (Desktop, Mobile & Tablet web / apps) as well as approaches to responsive / adaptive design
    • Experience building adaptive prototypes in software such as: Envision, Adobe CC, Figma, Axure or Sketch
    • Demonstrable skills in illustration, iconography, photography and information visualization with good knowledge of relevant design software.
