Key Performance Areas:
Coordinate activities associated with vehicle maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and fault finding.
Perform repairs by stripping, cleaning, overhauling, replacing, and assembling components (e.g., brake and clutch overhauls, gearboxes, engines, and related mechanical repairs).
Test vehicle systems and components, isolating faults.
Diagnose system issues and identify defects on components through visual inspection, functional tests, and investigation procedures.
Check functionality of replacement components and execute necessary adjustments and settings.
Interpret and coordinate pre-work requirements for repairs and maintenance sequences.
Guide personnel in planned and predictive maintenance tasks.
Interact with Stores and verify allocated components and materials against job cards before starting the job.
