    Value Creation Program Manager

    Purpose of Role    

    • To work with our Venture Founders to drive growth in value and impact through continuous value - creating engagements and support to identify and achieve evolving business objectives. 
    • Supporting the Value Creation Team to ensure efficient program management and rollout of activities as well as manage Value Creation Operating Partner relationships and delivery.

    Objectives of Role    
    VALUE CREATION TEAM SUPPORT

    • Provide support for the following Post Investment Management processes:
      •  Onboarding of Portfolio Companies.
      • Advisory Forum Management.
      • Schedule Venture Deep Dive Sessions and PIM Workshops.
      • Schedule meetings for key Post Investment activities e.g. Value Creation Weekly & Monthly update meetings.
    •  Manage quarterly report updates.
    • Create and update Value Creation workflows on Monday.com.
    • Develop and maintain an accurate, up-to-date filing system on SharePoint, for all
    • program documentation (business documents, legal contracts, meeting
    • recordings, program reports, etc., Venture monthly reports, etc.).
    • Maintain, update, and submit change requests to the Value Creation Standard
    • Operating Procedures for approval by the Chief Portfolio Officer.
    • Provide funding disbursement support post IC approval.
    • Provide support for Value Creation events when needed.
    • Provide additional portfolio management support on an ad-hoc basis as required by the Chief Portfolio Officer and the Value Creation Team.

    STRATEGIC PROJECT SUPPORT & OPERATING PARTNER MANAGEMENT

    • Manage the implementation of Strategic Projects and support post approval of the projects.
    • Manage RFP applications, & supplier queries.
    • Manage operating partner onboarding and contracting.
    • Monitor the performance of operating partners against the proposal.
    • Load and manage invoices (payment and processing) on Tradogram.
    • Monitor the core needs and strategic support budget and ensure it is not exceeded.

    PORTFOLIO REPORTING & INSIGHTS

    • Liaise with our portfolio companies to collect and manage performance data on a monthly and ad hoc basis.
    • Analyse data and derive portfolio insights that bring consistency and precision to decision- making for the overall portfolio.
    • Track the impact of value creation activities and interventions on Venture growth in value and impact.
    • Support program evaluation and record quantitative and qualitative data.
    • Support the Value Creation team and Impact Manager in preparing information for reporting purposes.
    • Cross portfolio harvesting of collaboration & synergistic opportunities.
    • Work alongside the investment management team and external service providers to compile valuations of our portfolio companies.

    Experience and Qualifications    

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Quantitative Analysis or related field an advantage.
    • Project Management Qualification an advantage.
    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in program management, risk management, project management and/or working with cross-functional teams.
    • Understanding of financial analysis and investment valuation techniques.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as proficiency in data analysis (manipulation and analysis of data sets), identifying trends and the ability to effectively communicate insights, recommendations and make data driven decisions.
    • Microsoft office skills are essential, with proficiency in Excel required.
