Job Advert Summary    

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Invoice Clerk to join our team.  You will invoice pre-owned and new vehicles. Compile data from transactions and supporting documents to verify accuracy of invoice data and to ensure receipt of items ordered. Compare invoices against purchase orders and shipping and receiving documents to verify receipt of items ordered. Records data in control records, and contacts vendors or buyers regarding errors in partial or duplicate shipments, prices, and substitutions.

Minimum Requirements    

• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
• Proven experience in automotive costing administration, or related roles.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with various departments, suppliers, and customers.
• Previous knowledge of automotive industry warranty policies and procedures will be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in computer applications - (EVOLVE software system preferred)  
• Proficient in English & Afrikaans
• Clear criminal record

Knowledge, skills and attributes:

• The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Capture new & used vehicles in stock on system (Evolve).
• Reconciliation of Manufacturer invoices versus dealership vehicle specifications order.
• Reconciliation of reconditioning costs and repairs to trade-in vehicles.
• Reconciliation of value added products ordered by client and value added products installed or fitted on vehicle.
• Invoicing of sold vehicles.
• Transfer vehicles and fuel postings.
