Visual Designer at Ecolab

• This role primarily involves designing and developing visually engaging learning materials such as infographics, illustrations, animations, and interactive media. The ideal candidate will incorporate user-centred design principles to enhance learner engagement, stay updated with the latest educational technology and design trends, and manage multiple design projects. Additionally, the role may include creating various marketing collateral, including brand logos, website layouts, social media graphics, presentations, and print materials. The candidate should come ready to demonstrate proactive initiative to support the team's success. 

Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop visually appealing learning materials including infographics, illustrations, animations, and interactive media including visual assets that effectively communicate complex concepts and information in a clear and understandable manner. 
• Incorporate user-centred design principles to enhance learners' engagement and interaction. 
• Stay up to date with advancements in educational technology and design trends to continuously improve the visual elements of our learning products. 
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadline. 
• Create and design various marketing collateral, including brand logos, website layouts, social media graphics, presentations, and print materials. 
• Demonstrate strong initiative by proactively identifying and addressing needs beyond the above core responsibilities to support the team's success and achieve common goals 

Minimum Qualifications:  

• Bachelor's degree in visual communication, or a related field. 
• 2+ years proven work experience as a Visual Designer, preferably in an educational or e-learning environment. 
• Showcase design skills through a compelling portfolio of projects. 

Key Competencies: Possesses strong aesthetic skills for diverse illustrative styles in animation and design with a passion for visual storytelling. Exhibits excellent communication and teamwork abilities, translating complex information into engaging designs and consistently producing detailed visual assets. Open to feedback, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies and techniques. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects) and knowledgeable in Articulate Suite. Meticulous in error-checking, ensuring high-quality output, resolving technical issues, and keen on exploring the latest e-learning design and A.I. technologies.
