Ensures accurate, timely employee payments by collecting timesheets, calculating wages, deductions, and bonuses, and processing payments. Maintain payroll records, handle payroll inquiries, ensure compliance with labor laws/tax regulations, and reconcile discrepancies. Use of payroll software to manage employee pay data efficiently.
Responsible for helping the smooth running of the business by ensuring filing and documentation is kept up to date. Duties may include using specialist computer software and understanding the requirements of the business you are working in. You could also be required to be customer-facing - via email, phone, or face to face.1 year experience and diploma in business administration.
Monitor and ensure that exception is cleared daily SACO
Ensuring reader are working and load tickets when problems arise and ensure it is resolved timeously on SACO
Ensuring codes are aligned with site codes to ensure correct payments to staff of SACO
Loading of new staff members and termination/offboarding of employees and SACO contractors
Monitoring of SACO to ensure that information is pulling through SACO
Allocation and reallocation of shifts upon request SACO
Assist with SACO induction and user training with support on SACO
Collect of Pay run manual input and processing and check before final pay run with sign off by HODs SACO
Daily absenteeism reports shared with Management staff
coordination for weekly Temp Employee request
Scheduling of onboarding with the relevant departments of temp employee request
Monthly reporting and processing of hours weekly - timekeeping of temp employee request
Monitoring of employee overtime with HODs and service providers for temp employee request
Liaising and arranging temp employee request weekly and on an ad hoc basis
Capturing of leave – Weekly
Dealing with pay/leave queries and resolving those soonest
Payroll onboarding documents for newly appointed wage staff

Matric or equivalent
