Warehouse Assistant in Supply Chain (The Arjo Company) at Mancosa

Main Responsibilities:

• Assisting with dispatch of deliveries.
• Receiving deliveries.
• Picking and packing.
• Serial number capturing.
• Cycle Count.
• General filling.
• Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Accepting delivery of inventory.
• Counting and confirming inventory.
• Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
• Communicating errors to relevant parties.
• Marking and labelling stock.
• Storing inventory in accessible manner.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Supply Chain qualification

Competencies:

• Physically strong and healthy.
• The ability to maintain solid attendance.
• Available to work extended hours when required.
• MS Office proficiency

Requirements:

• Must be a South African citizen.
• Attached copy ID and qualifications.
• Must be able to commit to 12 months.
• Between 18 to 35 years of age
• Unemployed and currently not participating in any learnership

Nice to have:

• Driver’s License

Job Type & Contract Length:

• Successful graduates will be expected to enter a 12-month contract. On completion of their year with ARJO these young workers will have credible work experience under their belt and will be ready for future employment opportunities
