Warehouse Driver at U.S. Embassy South Africa

Duties

• Position serves as a warehouseman and driver in support of consulate operation. Responsible for the storage, maintenance, and delivery of consulate property. Serves as a back-up motor pool driver to transport passengers and/or cargo. Operates delivery truck, forklift, and passenger vehicle in a safe, efficient manner. Supervised by the General Services Assistant, with day-to-day guidance from the Warehouse Floor Manager.

Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:

• EXPERIENCE:  A minimum of two years of experience working as manual labor, of which one year of experience operating a light truck and

forklift is required.
 

Education Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School or Local Mandatory Schooling and received high school diploma

Evaluations:

• LANGUAGE:  Good working knowledge speaking/reading/writing of English is required.
