Warehouse Manager - Mining at Hire Resolve

Description:

• Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for a Warehouse Manager to join their mining company based in Gauteng. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end warehouse operations, inventory control, governance, safety and service delivery to support operational requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organise and manage daily warehouse and yard operations.
• Oversee receiving, put-away, picking, issuing, dispatch and returns.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and drive stock accuracy.
• Manage critical spares, consumables and stock levels.
• Conduct stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.
• Identify and resolve inventory variances and manage obsolete or slow-moving stock.
• Ensure effective warehouse governance, controls and audit compliance.
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely replenishment and correct specifications.
• Oversee receiving, dispatch, transport and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ requirements, including safe storage, housekeeping and equipment safety.
• Lead, coach and develop warehouse personnel.
• Monitor warehouse performance, service delivery and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management or equivalent
• Minimum 5–8 years' experience within the mining industry with 3 years' experience in a managerial/supervisory role.
• Knowledge of OEM
• Experience in inventory control, stocktakes and critical spares management
• Strong understanding of warehouse governance, controls and audit requirements
• Experience managing receiving, issuing, dispatch and returns processes
• Valid Driver's License
