To manage the Warehouse function (inbound and outbound) across multiple warehouses in terms of cost, quality, governance,inventory control, people and information
What will you do
Manage inbound and outbound logistics across multiple warehouses (including rented warehouses)
Manage inventory governance for inbound and outbound as per Tiger brands policies and SOPs
Implement and maintain safety, hygiene and 5S standards
Ensure compliance to and implementation of Tiger brands inventory management, stock count SOPs and Policies
Ensure availability of raw materials and packaging at all times
Maintain and promote an environment of continuous improvement
Effective management of human resources and promotion of teamwork culture
Maintain a healthy industrial relations relationship within the plant
Prevent process and product non-conformances in the Warehouse
Lead all stock count activities
Ensures sound stock management: WIP and Finished goods
Ensures timeous cycle counting practices are stringently adhered to
Manages variance reports and ensure timeous corrective/preventative measures
Minimize waste write-offs
Purchasing and control of raw materials and packaging
Essential skills and qualifications
Extensive technical, production and warehousing experience
