Warehouse Supervisor at Pollock & Associates

• We are seeking a results-driven Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate warehousing operations within the Sales and Marketing Department.
• This role ensures that stock movement, storage, reporting, and compliance processes run smoothly and efficiently, enabling the company to meet production targets, service level agreements, and customer demand.
• You will lead a team, maintain SAP and ERP data integrity, and implement best practices in warehousing, while driving operational excellence through robust administration and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Procurement (NQF 5).
• 3–5 years’ experience in warehousing, inventory, stock control, or logistics within manufacturing, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.

Technical Competencies

• Proficient in MS Office Suite, SAP, and ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing, inventory, and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all warehousing operations, ensuring accurate weekly cycle counts and monthly stocktakes.
• Enforce FIFO and LOS principles, managing stock variances and investigating discrepancies.
• Oversee coding, storage, and compliance of incoming products, and manage non-conforming stock.
• Maintain SAP and ERP data integrity, capturing returns, credit notes, invoices, and scrap differences.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and timely reporting of warehousing and stock control activities.
• Prepare and maintain work instructions and ensure alignment with evolving inventory control practices.
• Order and manage warehouse consumables, PPE, and safety equipment.
• Support compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations.
