Website Manager at PEP

Purpose of the job

To manage the maintenance & development of all Web channels within the PEP group, including but not limited to the Websites, Intranet & Whatsapp channel and to effectively manage the system demands from the department.

Key Responsibilities

Optimisation of web channels. This will include:

• Conducting extensive research to identify customer needs and competitor solutions to drive new opportunities and create disruptive experiences
• Web analytics, tracking & reporting
• Web Product and Project Management

Product management (from ideation to implementation and execution

• Manage backlog, releases and web channel budget

Web project management

Ecommerce:

• Research
• Ecommerce development, optimisation and growth
• Manage business requirements driven by web channels, ie: goals, metrics, etc.
• Management of web content

Relationship management

• Collaborate with the broader teams to develop and introduce new site features.
• Manage partners such as Web Designers, Developers and external partners or agencies to ensure all roadmap requirements are met & delivered

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

• Tertiary Qualification – IT, Systems or Web related degree/diploma
• 3-5 years experience working as a Web Manager or similar position
• Retail experience will be an advantage
• Web Product Management experience
• Adobe Suite experience will be an advantage
• Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager experience will be an advantage
• Knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies (scrum) and work practice
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS & Javascript
• Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager
• CMS (Content Management System) experience e.g. in Magento, WordPress or Shopify
• Website Design
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and the implementation thereof
• Understanding of Conversion rate optimisation
• Knowledge and interpretation of Website performance evaluation and optimisation
• Understanding of Cyber/Web security
• Research capability
