Workshop Assistant at CBRE Excellerate

About the role:

• The Workshop Assistant key function is to handle day to day task such as equipment handling, maintenance and assisting in inventory management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure all tools, equipment, and machinery are cleaned, stored, and maintained in good working condition.
• Assisting senior technicians in repair and maintenance tasks, providing them with the necessary tools and components.
• Keeping track of all inventory used and needed, ensuring that orders are placed to avoid shortages
• Ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that the workshop remains a safe environment for all staff.
• Assisting with paperwork, documentation, and communication necessary for smooth workshop execution
• Assisting in general mechanical work, including vehicle repairs, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding under the guidance of senior technicians.
• Helping to keep the repair shop/workshop clean, organized, and free from hazards at all times.
• Assisting with general driving duties.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric Certified
• 2-3 years’ experience in Fleet
• Mechanical Knowledge will be advantageous
• Driver’s License Code 08
• Detail-oriented/ Attention to detail.
