    Worksite Marketer

    Role Purpose    

    • To assist in the maximisation of new and existing accounts via the assigned distribution by applying effective sales techniques and driving sales performance

    Requirements    
    Formal Qualification

    • Senior  certificate (Grade 12)
    • If DOFA with FSB is before 31 December 2009 - Insurance credits apply
    • If DOFA with FSB is from 1 January 2010 onwards – Full qualification applies
    • RE: Representative regulatory exam. Must have written and passed. Based on mandate from FSB
    • CPD qualification as required

    Required Experience

    • 3 years experience engaging with corporate entities and clients

    Other requirements 

    • Proven Lead generation skills

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    Improve capacity utilization (productivity)

    • Complete the minimum sales required per day
    • Enhance lead pipelines by engaging with key contact people, attending wellness days,networking seminars etc. (where applicable)
    • Individualinitiatives to create for lead generation opportunities
    • Identify and target prospects as per annual marketing requirements on monthly basis
    • Cross selling to existing database
    • Assist in making contact and setting appointments where existing relationship exists
    • Present AFD Credentials and establish relationship and opportunities
    • Retention for new business for 3 months
    • Up selling and cross selling to Corporate base

    Generate sales leads to meet sales budgets

    • Network with HR managers from companies
    • Conduct cold canvassing
    • Initiate individual initiatives to generate leads
    • Network across business divisions for cross selling opportunities
    • Complete market research and preparation to identify and target corporate clients
    • Source leads by attending events held by joint ventures
    • Create channels in order to acquire leads
    • Educate clients on products and offerings
    • Conduct thorough needs analysis
    • Plan individual strategy and daily activity
    • Apply effective time management
    • Remain dated and informed onproduct knowledge

    Maintain conversion ratio rate

    • Monitorsown conversion ratio
    • Develop personal selling and underwriting skills such as closingtechniques

    Retain new business

    • Educate clients at the point of underwriting
    • Keep updated on product knowledge
    • Adhere to new business charter
    • Perform underwriting in line with required standards andensure that recommendations made are and based on TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) principles

    Manage loss ratio’s on New business generated

    • Generate a steady stream of new business
    • Ensure Compliance to TCF ( Treating Clients Fairly)
