Key Performance Areas
Ensuring the formulation of long term Water Demand planning and strategy for the suitable water supply to the citizens of Cape Town.
Ensuring the effective implementation of capital operational projects and programmes undertaken for the purposes of Water Conservation and Water Demand Management, of varying nature, scale and budget.
Continuously developing and extending of the treated effluent reticulation system infrastructure for the use and re-use of treated effluent.
Compilation of the capital and operation budget for the implementation of Water Demand Management projects, programmes and operations.
Liaising with all relevant stakeholders (internal and external) to assist in meeting the objective of Water Demand
Management and Water Conservation through various communication channels.
Providing input into various policies and by-laws to promote the objectives of Water Demand Management, ensuring adequate monitoring, auditing and reporting of progress on the implementation of Water Demand Management policy and strategy.
