    Head - Health Information & Technology

    Requirements

    • A relevant professional qualification within the Information and Communications Technology field
    • 8 years or more relevant post qualifying experience covering all aspects of the Information and technology function with at least 3 years’ experience at management level

    Key Performance Areas

    • Manages and co-ordinates health information, the related information systems, related health information technology and surveillance of communicable diseases in the City Health

    Senior Professional Officer

    Requirements

    • Minimum requirement of a relevant BTech degree in Electrical Engineering
    • Registration as a Professional Engineering Technologist with ECSA

    Key Performance Areas

    • Responsible for overseeing the maintenance, engineering, and lifecycle management of medium voltage (MV) electrical infrastructure, with a specialized focus on protection relays and schemes, and variable frequency controllers/ drives (VFC’s/VFD’s) within water and sanitation.
    • Lead maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of protection systems associated with MV electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, and motors.
    • Develop and implement maintenance strategies.
    • Conduct Fault investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures.
    • Configure, test and commission protection relay systems (Overcurrent, differential, earth fault, etc.) to ensure network reliability and personnel safety.

    Requirements

    • National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
