ZBB PPM Manager at The South African Breweries (SAB)

Key Purpose Statement
To own the financial management, compliance management and quality management of Solutions Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB).​

Competencies and Recquirements 

• University/bachelor degree qualification is essential. 
• Preferred Qualified Accountant.
•  MBA is a plus​

• 5+ working years in finance & accounting.
•  3+ experience in business budgeting, planning and analysis.
•  3 to 5 years related working experience in multi-national company.
•  Experience implementing Technology Business Management an advantage.​
• Good financial knowledge with the ability of presentation. • Cross-functional team participation with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely​. 
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills plus an ability to balance multiple priorities. 
• Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional activities. 
• Ability to work independently and create and implement processes. 
• Good statistical knowledge and the ability to apply statistics to product and process improvement projects. 
• Skillful in computer software: Excel, Words, MS Office, Website access & research etc.

Output and Accountabilities

• Support the implementation and drive the governance of the Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB). 

•  Conduct one year plan and three year plan technology package budgeting. 

• Participate, as necessary, in writing and reviewing technology package policy management. 

• Monthly tracks, monitor, and analyzes ZBB performance, using both regional and global benchmark data to open gaps and develop closure plans. 

• Use standard tracking and reporting systems, drive performance, and assures timely completion and achievement of savings goals. 

• Assist process owners in identifying barriers to plan success and helps to drive changes when needed. 

• Ensure integrity, timeliness and accuracy of reported financial information and compliance with internal policy and legal/tax requirements. 

•  Able to pull together monthly reports and presentation decks for senior leadership review. 

• Document improvement, process learning and shares best practices with other Value Creation teams across different zones. 

• Actively engage Value Creation teams across different zones, pro-actively presenting examples from Africa region, and identifying potential opportunities for the Africa region. 

• Plan and manage processes, standards and practices to ensure requests are aligned with company business goals and objectives. 

•  Prepare, communicate and educate client groups and team on changes in processes, policies and practices within the organization.
