    Counter Sales (Fourways)

    Description

    • ACDC Dynamics, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Salesman to join our team. This position is based at our retail store in Fourways and plays a crucial role in providing excellent service and support to our customers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products based on their needs.
    • Demonstrate excellent product knowledge to inform customers and enhance sales opportunities.
    • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
    • Follow up diligently on orders to prevent delays and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive counter area.
    • Ensure all customers leave the store satisfied with their purchases and overall experience.
    • Assist customers promptly with inquiries, providing quotations, and resolving any issues.
    • Treat all customers with respect, courtesy, and professionalism.
    • Keep specials and promotional brochures up to date on the trade counter.
    • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management to support operational needs.
    • Manage back orders effectively, keeping customers informed and ensuring timely fulfillment.

    Inventory Controller - Fourways (Fourways)

    Description

    • To assist the National Inventory Manager with inventory related issues in all warehouses and Company Owned Franchises.
    • To assist with inventory issues nationally and assist the inventory controllers in all Company owned Franchises and warehouses.
    • To assist in identifying, maintaining & managing the accuracy of stock levels and stock movement nationally.
    • To ensure all ACDC procedures are implemented, staff are trained in it and that they are following it, providing customer satisfaction and as little as possible errors and damages.
    • To assist the branches in running efficiently with regards to company procedures & inventory related issues.
    • To prepare & do stock takes and ongoing cycle- & range counts.
    • To investigate & resolve any stock variances & stock related issues.
    • To assist in the preparation of warehouses for the audited stock take every financial year end.
    • To ensure that all inventory related reports are cleared and submitted on time. (Weekly & Monthly reports)
    • To ensure the storerooms/lockups are always clean & tidy.
    • To assist where and when needed.

    Daily:

    • To resolve Discrepancies
    • Range counts
    • Cycle counts
    • Transfer to correct stock between locations in your branches
    • General inventory management
    • Discrepancy & variance investigations for stock in your branches/C.O.F
    • Stock Adjustment requests for your branches/C.O.F
    • Stock queries

    Weekly:

    • Submit the weekly reports (BOF; MULTIPLE BINS; OBSOLETE; OUTSTANDING DISCREPANCIES; IN TRANSIT; BACKORDERS WITH STOCK & ALL OTHER INVENTORY RELATED REPORTS) to the National Inventory manager & the Branch manager.
    • Random Audits and Inspections
    • Warehouse Inspections and reports
    • Ensuring that the branches are running according to the company’s inventory procedures & requirements.

    Monthly:

    • Month-end reports

    Requirements

    • Grade 12/Matric.
    • Relevant tertiary qualification will be highly advantageous.
    • Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience as an Inventory Controller.

    Description

    • This role plays a vital part in minimizing risk, preventing stock losses, and ensuring a positive customer experience at store exit and checkout areas.

    Key Responsibilities

    The successful incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to:

    • Checking customer invoices against merchandise before stock leaves the store
    • Monitoring stock movement at the checkout and exit points
    • Assist in minimizing stock losses and identify potential risk situations
    • Greeting customers professionally when entering and leaving the store

    Field Technician - Blue Nova Energy (JHB) (Longmeadow)

    Description

    •  The successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning, site acceptance testing, repair, maintenance, and technical support of Blue Nova battery energy storage systems, including low-voltage, high-voltage, iESS, and turnkey products.Blue Nova Energy, a subsidiary company of ACDC Dynamics, is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Technician to join its technical team.
    • This role requires a hands-on technical professional who is comfortable working on customer sites locally, regionally, and internationally, and who can provide reliable support, accurate reporting, and effective fault resolution to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous product improvement.
    • The Field Technician will travel to customer sites to commission, repair, install, maintain, and support Blue Nova battery systems. The role also includes factory assessments, minor repairs, remote technical assistance, ticket administration, parts management, and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Commission battery systems on site, including Site Acceptance Testing, containerised solutions, inverters, peripheral equipment, and energy management systems.
    • Repair and maintain Blue Nova batteries across all product ranges, including LV, HV, iESS, and turnkey solutions.
    • Conduct diagnostics, fault-finding, forensic investigations, root-cause analysis, and technical resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Provide field, telephonic, virtual, and ticketing support to customers, clients, installers, EPCs, and end-users.
    • Work on live battery systems where required, while ensuring compliance with site health and safety requirements.
    • Prepare accurate and timely reports on site visits, repair work, fault findings, customer feedback, and technical recommendations.
    • Liaise with Production, Development, Support, logistics, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery and continuous product improvement.
    • Conduct basic factory battery assessments, minor repairs, warranty validity checks, and support-related administration.
    • Request, manage, and track spare parts, tools, equipment, stock, parts issued, and parts returned.
    • Create and update support tickets, capture service records, assist with estimates, sales orders, RMAs, invoicing support, SLA administration, and Zoho ERP-related support processes.

    Requirements

    • Technical Diploma, Certificate, or BTech in Electrical Engineering.
    • Electrician qualification, Red Seal, Wireman’s Licence, and/or PV GreenCard will be advantageous.
    • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ relevant technical experience.
    • Strong understanding of DC and AC power fundamentals, renewable energy systems, battery energy storage systems, and related technical products.
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
    • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office packages; Zoho ERP experience will be advantageous.
    • Knowledge of health and safety requirements, stock control, inventory management, support administration, and ERP processes.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

    Junior Administrator - ACDC Express (Hermanus) (Western Cape)

    Description

    • Assist with the administration of customer accounts, including accurate capturing, updating and filing of account information.
    • Support the processing and follow-up of credit notes, returns, account queries and related documentation.
    • Ensure customer invoices, credit paperwork and supporting documents are completed, checked and filed correctly.
    • Liaise professionally with customers regarding account and credit queries, escalating matters where required.
    • Assist the branch team with general administrative duties, including data capturing, filing, scanning and document control.
