    Sales Representative (B2B)

    Job Description

    Introduction:

    • We are recruiting for an international outdoor clothing brand, seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to join their team in Northriding, Randburg. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by expanding the client base within South Africa’s clothing wholesale and retail sectors. The successful candidate will promote products, attend exhibitions, nurture client relationships, and contribute to the brand’s success by staying ahead of industry trends.

    Job Purpose:

    • To drive revenue growth by proactively expanding the client base, promoting products, and fostering long-term client relationships within the wholesale and retail clothing sectors in South Africa, while contributing to product selection and brand exposure through events and exhibitions.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum education (essential):

    • National Senior Certificate

    Minimum applicable experience (years):

    • 3-5 years

    Required nature of experience:

    • Sales experience with a focus on client acquisition and growth
    • Managing client and supplier relationships
    • Working in the wholesale clothing industry (will be advantageous)

    Skills and Knowledge (essential):

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Knowledge of sales strategies and client relationship management

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    Client Acquisition and Market Expansion:

    • Identify and develop strategies for entering new retail and wholesale channels.

    • Provide regular updates on the sales pipeline to the team.

    Client Relationship Management

    • Establish open communication with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to build trust and long-lasting relationships.
    • Implement strategies to retain existing clients and encourage repeat business.
    • Collect client feedback to drive long-term sales and product growth.

    Product Promotion and Brand Exposure

    • Arrange and attend exhibitions, events, and expos to promote the brand.
    • Travel throughout South Africa for events, including occasional weekends.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of product features, benefits, and unique selling points.
    • Contribute to product selection to ensure market-relevant offerings.

    Client Training and Support

    • Provide training and support to clients’ staff to enhance product sales.
    • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure client needs are met.
    • Ensure clients are equipped with the knowledge to effectively sell products.
    • Monitor client satisfaction and address any challenges promptly.

    Reporting and Industry Awareness

    • Provide regular reports on sales performance and market trends.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.

    Process Engineering

    Job Purpose:

    • The Learning and Development Strategist will be responsible for identifying skills gaps, developing comprehensive training programs, and ensuring continuous employee growth. This role emphasizes technical training, leadership development, and change management support while collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance workforce capabilities.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum education (essential):

    • Diploma in Human Resource Management, Learning and Development, or a related field

    Minimum applicable experience (years):

    • 5-7 years

    Required nature of experience:

    • Learning design and delivery of training solutions in a corporate environment
    • Understanding and learning new and complex industries to provide technical training
    • Imparting knowledge to adults and assessing their understanding

    Skills and Knowledge (essential):

    • Strong instructional design and program development skills
    • Ability to conduct needs assessments and gap analyses Proficiency in stakeholder engagement and collaboration
    • Quick learning ability and knowledge transfer skills

    • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify organisational learning needs and skills gaps.
    • Develop a training roadmap for new and existing staff in partnership with department heads and HRM.
    • Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses to prioritise learning opportunities.
    • Ensure personal upskilling on business products within the first two months to deliver technical training.

    Program Design and Implementation

    • Lead the creation of learning programs for leadership, technical skills, and power skills development.
    • Develop training manuals in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
    • Oversee the delivery of scalable and accessible learning programs for all employees.
    • Implement assessment tools to evaluate knowledge transfer and application.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their L&D needs.
    • Tailor learning programs to meet specific departmental requirements in collaboration with HRM.
    • Facilitate interactive workshops and training sessions across all staff levels.
    • Support WSP/ATR planning and submission alongside HR.

    Technical Training and Change Management

    • Coordinate and oversee regular technical training on products and processes by internal specialists.
    • Ensure staff comprehension of technical training content. Develop and implement content to address concerns during departmental or process changes.
    • Work closely with HRM to support change management initiatives.

    Continuous Improvement and Best Practices

    • Provide strategic insights and recommendations on L&D best practices.
    • Stay updated on industry trends to enhance learning solutions.
    • Ensure alignment of L&D strategies with business objectives.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs for ongoing improvement.

    Construction-Site Coordinator

    Job Purpose

    • The Construction Site Coordinator will be responsible for carrying out the project office review and approval of the project installation and site work, as well as the sign off and on-site hand over of projects. Furthermore, the Site Coordinator will ensure that the final product / outcome observes the company’s quality standards, detect and resolve problems and monitor and control the delivery of satisfactory outcomes. Should any defects be found, it’s up to the Site Coordinator to apply corrective actions. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Coordinator will also be responsible for supervising building and other projects

    Education and Qualification Requirements

    • Minimum education (essential)
    • National Senior Certificate and/or any other relevant installation and project controlling experience.
    • Red Seal (would be advantageous)

    Minimum applicable experience (years)

    • 3+ years site installation and team management experience

    Computer Literacy (essential)

    • Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

    Required nature of experience

    • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
    • Previous experience as a handy man
