ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP

• Purpose: This learnership programme is intended at identifying suitable internal candidates for participation in the learnership programme and does not guarantee selection or enrolment.
• Qualification: National Certificate: Generic Management (NQF Level 4)
• Duration: 12 months
• Training: Blended learning – theoretical training, practical learning and workplace application
• Outcome: Upon successful completion, learners will obtain a nationally recognised qualification
• Cost covered: Tuition Fees only

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in structured theoretical training sessions
• Apply learning within the workplace through practical assignments
• Develop fundamental management and supervisory competencies
• Complete workplace-based assessments and portfolio of evidence
• Demonstrate professional communication, planning and problem-solving skills

REQUIREMENTS

• Citizenship: South African citizen and reside in Gauteng
• Age: Between 18 and 45 years
• Education: Minimum Grade 11 / Matric qualification with English
• Employment Status: Only permanently employed at Kia South Africa (Pty) Ltd for more than one (1) year at the time of application will be considered

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Level 1. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of experienced professionals and participate in on-the-job training in their chosen field.
• This role will provide hands-on experience and the opportunity to develop valuable skills and knowledge in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in completing tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors
• Participate in training sessions and courses to enhance skills and knowledge
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
• Maintain a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively
• Take initiative and demonstrate a strong work ethic

Qualifications:

• Pure and Technical Maths 
• Physical Sciences
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic understanding of the chosen field or industry
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and grow in the role
• Punctual and reliable
• Basic computer skills
