    Sales Manager (Fintech/ Saas)

    About the Role

    • This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on, dynamic leader who thrives in a dual role owning their own sales targets while managing and coaching a high-performing sales team.
    • In this role, you'll lead a team of 56 sales professionals, including Account Managers and Hunters, focused on driving new business and growing existing accounts. Supported by a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) who generate warm leads, you'll have the tools and resources needed to succeed.
    • Based in Johannesburg, you'll play a key role in driving revenue growth, developing the team, and strengthening client relationships with financial decision-makers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead by Example: Drive your own individual sales success by meeting and exceeding your personal sales targets through direct client engagement and deal closure.
    • Inspire and Coach: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 56 sales professionals, ensuring they achieve their goals and grow professionally.
    • SaaS Expertise: Leverage your experience in SaaS sales to manage complex sales cycles, providing hands-on support to your team during key deals.
    • FinTech Focus: Use your knowledge of the financial decision-making process to build strong relationships with CFOs, Credit Managers, and other stakeholders.
    • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales plans to target mid-market and enterprise clients, maximizing revenue growth and team performance.
    • Pipeline Oversight: Monitor and manage the teams sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, timely follow-ups, and deal progression.
    • Training and Development: Provide ongoing coaching and training to improve the teams consultative selling skills and overall performance.
    • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with SDRs, marketing, and product teams to align efforts, optimize lead conversion, and refine messaging for key audiences.
    • Customer Success: Build long-term client relationships, positioning the platform as the ultimate solution for managing credit risk.
    • Performance Metrics: Set clear KPIs, track team and individual performance, and implement strategies to close any gaps.
    • Market Knowledge: Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity to keep the company ahead of the curve.

    Requirements:

    • SaaS Sales Experience: 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a track record of consistently exceeding targets.
    • Sales Management Experience: You will be need to have experience in managing and growing sales teams. This role requires an individual experienced in leadership, coaching and driving results.
    • FinTech Expertise: Experience selling into CFOs, Credit Managers, or other financial decision-makers is a strong advantage.
    • Player/Coach Mindset: A proven ability to balance personal sales achievement with team leadership responsibilities.
    • Strong Communicator: Excellent influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Resilient and Goal-Oriented: Thrives in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

    Brand & Marketing Officer

    Your contribution will be:

    • Coordinate and manage all graphic design tasks, supporting various departments as required
    • Assist in advertising efforts for projects, campaigns, and sanctuaries
    • Support audio-visual production through video editing, when needed
    • Contribute to brand and advertising strategy development
    • Execute marketing, branding, and advertising initiatives across South Africa
    • Drive brand awareness by developing and implementing targeted campaigns
    • Build strong relationships with agencies and printing companies to secure free advertising opportunities

    Your profile should show:

    • Qualification in Graphic Design, with additional Marketing qualifications
    • 5+ years experience as a Graphic Designer, with an existing online portfolio to showcase your industry work
    • Experience using Adobe Suite (or similar) for photo and video editing
    • Passion for animal welfare and organisations vision and mission
    • Willingness to work in office for 3 days a week (not-negotiable)
    • Ability to travel, on occasion

    • Research, source, identify and interview candidates for open positions allocated to you to ensure you maintain these clients
    • Walk both clients & candidates through the entire recruitment cycle
    • Update and maintain the ATS giving care to data quality
    • Update & maintain both CRM, & Project Management tools
    • Both permanent and contracting positions may form part of your portfolio
    • Contribute to the constant improvement of systems, tools & processes
    • Implement your own operational structures to ensure you are meeting the volumes you need to in order to meet the expectations of the business, your clients, and anyone else you have committed to
    • Work with the team in streamlining processes to continuously improve business processes and workflows
    • Continuously attract talent by using multiple sources to advertise and recruit
    • Continuously build a talent pipeline and referral network
    • Negotiating offers
    • Ad-hoc administrative duties
    • Develop and update job descriptions
    • Efficiently manage a strong candidate flow to the team
    • Identify and implement new innovative ways to source and connect with talent
    • Mentor other recruiters and share knowledge wherever you can

    Requirements:

    • 4 years experience in AGENCY Recruitment at a minimum, with 10 years overall work experience. This is a senior position
    • A polished approach to your work
    • Experience in hiring for IT / Tech related positions essential
    • You need to have a good idea of the tech landscape in South Africa, various companies, their environment and tech stacks
    • Experience supporting a fast-paced organization.
    • Experience using an ATS (applicant tracking system) and other tools such as HubSpot, Asana and various sourcing tools would be an advantage
    • Strong knowledge of various earning packages and ability to create comparisons to support your negotiations during the hiring stage
    • Strong interviewing skills and ability to draw out the right information to gage suitability and fit for various positions
    • Ability to connect with a wide range of people from junior through to exec level
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
    • You need to have both the ability and confidence to engage with high-level candidates
    • You will need a stable working track record
