    Guest Service Co-Ordinator

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Oversee all maintenance and repairs on Welverdiend site including student housing & permanent residences
    • Obtain and manage costs of repairers
    • Regular checks to ensure quality and safety on premises
    • Daily cash-ups at nursery
    • Control daily invoices and stock reports
    • Monthly stock takes at nursery
    • Goods received on AS400 & stock control
    • Costing of functions
    • Cardex Maintenance
    • Flexcard recons for purchases of all operational points
    • Update and maintain rates on booking platforms and internal systems
    • Marketing of Welverdiend on social platforms and other media
    • Planning and managing events
    • Guesthouse management and occupancy
    • Assist the Welverdiend Manager with new initiatives to grow revenue and expand service offering
    • Manage customer expectations

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Digital marketing and/or event management experience
    • Computer & basic IT knowledge
    • Semper & online booking platform knowledge (advantageous)
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity at all time
    • Ability to manage and drive personnel effectively towards shared goals
    • Have a passion to work in the industry
    • Valid Driver’s License

    Data Engineer

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Define and implement the enterprise data and analytics strategy aligned to business objectives and Enterprise Architecture framework
    • Drive data governance practices, data ownership, and data quality frameworks
    • Oversee the delivery and continuous improvement of dashboards, reports, KPIs, and self-service analytics
    • Manage BI platforms (e.g. Power BI) ensuring reliability, consistency, and adoption across the organisation
    • Work closely with business users to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective solutions
    • Lead the design of data models, data integration, and modern data platforms (cloud or hybrid)
    • Design and build the enterprise data warehouse architecture to support robust, scalable, and secure data storage and access for enterprise-wide reporting and analytics
    • Develop and manage ETL processes for data ingestion, transformation and integration
    • Oversee data sources, either cloud-based or on-premises, ensuring security and compliance
    • Champion the use of advanced analytics, predictive modelling, and data science where applicable
    • Partner with business teams to turn data into actionable insights
    • Build, lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team: BI Developers, Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Scientists
    • Foster a culture of data literacy and empower business users through training and enablement

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or Statistics
    • 8+ years’ experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role
    • 5+ years' with DB2, MS SQL, ETL, and data warehousing
    • Certified in Azure Synapse with 2+ years’ experience
    • Skilled in SQL, data modelling, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
    • Proficient in data analysis tools, Google Analytics, Salesforce
    • Experience with data strategy, governance, and cloud platforms
    • Knowledge of machine learning and data privacy (POPIA, GDPR)
    • Strong stakeholder engagement, business insight, and leadership
    • Strategic, detail-orientated, and passionate about data-driven work

    Manager: EUM

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by understanding client insurance needs
    • Grow our broker network and support new brokers using the EUM platform
    • Lead and manage relationship managers, junior representatives, and broker networks
    • Maintain a strong understanding of personal and commercial short-term insurance products
    • Provide product guidance and support to internal teams
    • Oversee the claims team, ensuring efficient claims processing and fair settlements
    • Negotiate claims with policyholders and external stakeholders
    • Supervise the underwriting team to ensure proper risk evaluation and regulatory compliance
    • Manage the administrative team handling renewals, endorsements, and general servicing

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
    • Proven experience in short-term insurance, preferably in a leadership role
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Analytical thinking and the ability to assess risks and performance
    • Effective problem-solving abilities, especially in claims and underwriting
    • Solid understanding of sales, client relationship management, and business development
    • Computer literacy and comfort with insurance systems and platforms

    Relationship Manager: EUM

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering personalised service
    • Act as the primary point of contact, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues efficiently
    • Proactively identify new business or upselling opportunities based on client trends and feedback
    • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, etc.) to align on goals and drive success
    • Monitor client data, analyse trends, and provide detailed reports and feedback
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations
    • Represent the company at industry events, networking to grow relationships and market knowledge

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

    • Sound knowledge of sales processes, marketing strategies, and business development
    • Confidence in negotiation and managing client expectations
