    Associate Manager, Marketing Commercialization

    About the role:

    • To drive the profitably growth of the key product portfolio by leading best-in-class marketing execution activities to build brand equity and ensuring continued local consumer satisfaction, for the Africa Cluster. The position reports directly to the Manager, Marketing Commercialization

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborating with Platform (Global Office) on globally agreed brand strategies
    • Leveraging new products and communication assets from Platform
    • Creation of local country growth plans and execution of those plans in collaboration with the Global Agency hubs and Sales team
    • Controls and manages brand budgets
    • Monitor and analyses competitive activity
    • Manages the commercialization of new product introductions as an integral member of the Africa Cluster Project Team
    • Extensive cross collaboration within the Matrix organization to leverage and share best practice across the SCJ world
    • Category P&L management to drive profitable growth
    • Drive penetration and increase consumption to grow share across key markets within the cluster

    Experience You’ll Bring

    • Min. 8 years Marketing experience in an FMCG environment (preferably with a multi-national company)
    • Proficient in the use of the Nielsen Answers system and the use of any other retail syndicated
    • Cross Organizational project management experience
    • Creating and managing marketing budgets with PO/ Trackers in SAP

    Senior Associate, Customer Marketing – Home Cleaning

    About the role:

    • Work with Cluster Customer Marketing Manager and Cluster Member CM support to execute customer programs in local market. Coordinate with local sales team to identify customer priorities and insights. Leads the administrative and operational management of the Customer Marketing Team.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure Trade Bundles developed for assigned Category are appropriately adopted/adapted by the Cluster, and implementation plans are prioritized, resources fairly and optimally allocated, and implementation monitored
    • Partner with Marketing and Sales in timely execution of Category specific Global driven commercialization and Base/Expand initiatives.
    • Assist the Cluster Customer Marketing Manager in selecting and prioritizing customer marketing initiatives to be deployed within the Cluster
    • Drive execution of focused and synchronized trade and shopper activities (i.e. FOCO)
    • Provide Category Management support, tools and tactics and ensure all distribution and display initiatives are executed properly and in a timely manner.
    • Together with Sales, co-manages the Category allocated trade spend, and ensures the establishment and conduct of appropriate controls to manage resources, and leads course correction for the Equity-Building component of trade spending to stay within budget

    Experience You’ll Bring

    • Multi-functional experience in Customer Marketing, and either in Sales and/or Marketing, in a Household Care Company
    • Knowledge of the Category, pertinent Key Customers, and key Competitive set
    • Proven track record having profitably grown a business
    • Be able to pull and analyze syndicated data
