Key Performance Areas:

• Developing policies and standard operating procedures that are inline with the relevant legislation
• Monitoring the implementation and compliance with the fleet management policies and standard operating procedures
• Implementing and controlling systems to optimize the usage and utilization of vehicles and drivers in consultation with the immediate supervisor.
• Implementing controls to deter fraud, abuse and misuse and following disciplinary procedures if necessary
• Ensure the development and implementation of the risk register.
• Analyse and evaluate the internal controls to determine their effectiveness in mitigating risks.
• Assist in the development of the risk register.
• Analyzing the Municipality's need for vehicles and liaising with fleet providers for the availability of vehicles.
• Monitoring and reporting misuse and abuse of the fleet vehicles.
• Establishing a work program and schedule so that there is effective planning, control and management of the fleet.

Essential Requirements of the post:

• Appropriate Bachelors' Degree/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent (NQF 6)

Qualification

• 3 years' experience in Local Government particularly Budget and Treasury Office
• Must have a Certificate in Municipal Finance Management
• Computer Literacy
• Professional registration will be an added advantage
• Valid Driver's license

Key Performance Areas:

• Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget, adjustments budget and MTREF in line with IDP, SDBIP and MFMA requirements.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and reconciliations in compliance with MFMA, GRAP and National Treasury regulations.
• Monitor expenditure and revenue against approved budgets, perform variance analysis and support in-year monitoring and Section 71/72 reporting.
• Assist with the compilation of Annual Financial Statements, maintenance of an accounting file and provide support during internal and external audits.
• Implement and maintain effective financial controls, policies and proceduresrelating to budget and reporting processes.
• Provide financial guidance to departments and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including Treasury and auditors.

Requirements of the Position:

• Appropriate National Diploma/ Degree in Environmental Management/ Science/ Studies or equivalent (NQF6) qualification.
• Valid Driver's License
• Computer literacy - Office Application
• Knowledge of Applicable legislation: NEMA, NAMWA, EIA Regulation.
• Good communication skills, verbal and in writing.

Key Performance Areas:

• Supervising and monitoring daily activities on the landfill site.
• Planning work programs for landfill operations and reporting to the immediate supervisor the progress.
• Providing cumulative inputs towards the identification and development of landfill site operational plans.
• Attending route operational issues, regulatory requirements and. special operating instructor to ensure that the site functions properly.
• Verifying, if necessary, equipment and materials are available, taking of weekly stock and ordering of additional materials.
• Conduct routine inspection with the subordinates to maintain proper control of the site and record incidents if any.
• Keep track records of waste entering and leaving the site.
• Ensure compliance with all legal frameworks that apply to the landfill site.
• Monitor landfill staff, attendance register, and the landfill machinery.

Requirements of the Position:

• STD 8/ Grade 10
• Bullding a botter future with the people
• Certification of Competency in Operating a Grader/Heavy Duty Plant.
• Code C1 driving license + PrDP.
• Clear understanding of slope, elevation, fine and rough grading, and roadbuilding techniques.
• 2-year experience in the relevant field

Key Performance Areas:

• Receiving instructions and or details of tasks/ requirements from the immediate supervisor.
• Performing specific tasks/ activities at the prior to and on completion
