    • Conduct monthly cash and alarm checks on ATM/ADT devices to ensure that all ATM/ADT failures and site inefficiencies are reported immediately and ensure that strict SSD cleanliness standards are adhered to and monthly look and feel checklist are completed

    • Align to FirstRand approved strategic data platforms to meet the business growth demands and define and influence the AI architecture requirements for all use cases.
    • Facilitate alignment between business and application architecture.
    • Co-ordinate and prioritise the AI architecture work within the Pillar/ Function/ Domain/ Segment area as per CDAO priority and approval.
    • Create detailed architectural plans for AI systems including data pipelines, model deployment strategies and integration with existing IT infrastructure.
    • Evaluate and select the most suitable tools, platforms and technologies for AI Development considering scalability, cost and compatibility.
    • Oversee the development and training of machine learning models ensuring they meet the desired performance metrics.
    • Ensure seamless integration of AI systems with other enterprise applications and databases.
    • Participate in relevant committees to define opportunities to improve/ enhance the AI Architecture
    • Promote adoption of new AI / Information Architecture patterns.
    • Monitor operational issues and ensure high levels of data ethics is followed.
    • Facilitate the conversion of knowledge and ideas into new or improved solutions (products, processes, and services).
    • Work closely with a cross-functional team to assess AI architectural requirements for new and enhanced business operations.
    • Drive AI Architecture awareness (and related risks) for area of responsibility in consultation with relevant stakeholders (e.g. CDAOs, Data Modelers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists etc).
    • Ensure relevant stakeholders are trained on AI framework, policies, standards, and principles.
    • Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development.
    • Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialisation.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum: Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or related fields or Bcom Information Management Systems

    Preferred/ Advantageous:

    • Master’s Degree: Advanced degrees in Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate
    • AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty
    • Certified Artificial Intelligence Scientist (CAIS)
    • 5+ years architecture experience in a similar environment with minimum 2 years in AI

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Detailed understanding of advanced analytics, techniques, technologies, standards and best practices as it relates to Information Architecture.
    • Proficiency in programming languages like TensorFlow, Python and R, and tools like Kubernetes and Git.
    • In depth understanding and experience in implementing data management domains and technologies.
    • Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies, frameworks and practices.
    • Expertise or experience in implementing AI Frameworks and models.
    • Experience implementing Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, etc.
