    Girls Senior Prep School Remedial Therapist - Permanent Part - Time

    Duties (not an exhaustive list):

    • Provide small group lessons in collaboration with the relevant teachers and based on the needs of each class
    • Provide one-on-one or small group remedial sessions focusing on literacy, numeracy and other key academic areas
    • Participate in multidisciplinary team meeting to align support strategies
    • Support the collaborative structure of the Academic Support Unit
    • Work closely with pupils, parents, and fellow teaching staff to assist those in need of intervention
    • Have the ability to run an independent practice, including billing, invoicing and report writing
    • Conduct pupil assessments to determine remedial therapy needs
    • Develop individual therapy plans, make necessary referrals, and assist with implementing necessary classroom strategies in collaboration with the Head of ASU

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications and Experience

    • A relevant qualification in Remedial Therapy
    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Remedial Therapist in a school setting
    • A strong understanding of a range of learning difficulties
    • Registration number with SACE

    Girls Senior Prep Afrikaans Teacher (Locum)

    Duties (not an exhaustive list):

    • Teach Afrikaans
    • Ensure that lessons impart a love and competence in Afrikaans
    • Plan and teach interesting and engaging Afrikaans lessons
    • Promotion of the St Peter's Prep Schools attributes and values
    • Teach according to the St Peter's Prep Schools Best Practice pedagogy

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications and Experience:

    • Relevant qualification
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience teaching Afrikaans
    • SACE registration 
    • Demonstrated computer literacy ability
    • Skills in IT innovation would be advantageous
