    Senior Technical Project Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Define and deliver the business, system and technical requirements for multiple projects.  
    • Have the ability to plan and define the approach and delivery of the project and monitor and track this delivery through the SDLC and lifetime of the project(initiation and planning)
    • Be able to elicit the requirements from stakeholders across various levels of the organization, engage professionally with a diverse number of stakeholders (IT and Business).
    • implement the business processes and their associated changes across the organization and be able to measure whether the benefits of the project materialized.  
    • Manage the scope, cost, quality and time of the project with key focus on dependencies, risks and issues.
    • Continuously look for process efficiencies and optimizations and implement these across the team and business area(continuous improvement)
    • Have the ability to manage end-to-end delivery of medium to large sized with medium to high complexity.  
    • Provide a mentoring and coaching role to other colleagues in the organization.

    Key Requirements:

    • Relevant tertiary qualification BSc/BCom / Business Diploma (3yrs) / Adv Management Diploma preferable
    • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent
    • Excellent Communicator - written and verbal
    • Be a Self-Starter, Self-managed with business and technical (IT) knowledge and understanding of the SDLC
    • High attention to detail, maintain a standard of accuracy when document requirements Professional stakeholder engagement management and relationship building skills

    We need someone to get in the game and take on the role of a Senior Developer Level 1 available in our Game Technology team. Our team is responsible for designing and developing new products and technologies to aid our game studios in delivering their product more competitively.

    Senior Developer - Level 1 - Durban Forest Park 2 (Customers & Emerging Markets)

    Our Atlantic Team for new U.S market project is looking for a Senior Developer Level 1

    Background

    • There are multiple components / products required to support the USA Business readiness. These platform extensions are systems / products and integrations which DGC require to be competitive in the market. The core team will be responsible for the implementation, the design and alignment with Derivco standards, it will work closely with our partners DGC and our contracting partners to execute on these.
    • Supporting the core team will be a shared services team, BA's, PM's and supporting roles to the contract and core teams will form part of shared services. Shared Services will support Asia + US projects.

    Strategy

    • Existing Product teams and mechanisms will be used for Market entry and traditional product development / evolution. The Atlantic team will execute on fast-tracking the integration of best of breed products from the market to augment the platform, where needed products or components will be built from scratch if not available to integrate.

    Core team 

    • We will be working in a fast paced and changing environment, it's highly likely that things will change fairly often in terms of the type of work.
    • We will be working with an internal core team, teams across the Derivco business as well as with multiple teams of contractors. If this gives you the weeby jeebies this will be a great opportunity to develop these skills, if you don't want to develop these skills then it's probably not for you.
    • We will be engaging with vendors and integrating best of breed products into multiple areas of our system, engaging SME's across Derivco will be essential. Integrations will play a large part of the mandate of the team. These will include multiple product verticals, not just one type of integration.
    • We will be upholding the highest Derivco standards and aligning on SDLC best practice from day 1. SDLC maturity requirement is 100%.
    • Expectation is that we do what is needed, any legacy boundary of testing vs dev vs IT etc. responsibilities must be left at the door.
