    Africa Data Analyst

    This role is responsible for collecting, interpreting and communicating Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability (PACS) insights and partnering with Operating Unit (OU) leads to convert them into actionable strategies, decisions and tactics. The ideal candidate will serve as a conduit between the PACS Services team and the OU, establishing a constant connection between both groups and forming a two-way communication channel that can be leveraged to achieve both OU and global business objectives. The role is critical to scaling PACS Services insights and tailoring them to help each OU reach its goals and influence stakeholders.  

    Responsibilities 

    • Define OU-specific PACS KPIs and outline the optimal means of tracking them over time 
    • Help quantify the success of PACS communications campaigns and initiatives  
    • Design and develop visualizations to support the needs of stakeholders and partners 
    • Drive the design of our corporate reputation survey and ensure key attributes and data points are accounted for within the questionnaire  
    • Leverage corporate reputation, sustainability and communications data to provide strategic feedback and recommendations to OU leadership  
    • Design and oversee ad hoc research based on topical events, campaigns or issues, collaborating with Human Insights and Marketing Analytics teams as needed 
    • Communicate OU-specific insights with other members of the PACS Services team  
    • Provide regular updates to OU leadership on corporate reputation and performance 
    • Clearly communicate OU needs and requirements to the global PACS Services Data and Analytics team 

    Deliverables 

    • Semi-regular corporate reputation reporting, benchmarks and recommendations 
    • Ongoing internal and external communications performance  
    • KPI measurement for campaigns and events  
    • Media penetration reporting based on insights gleaned from Factiva and other sources 
    • Knowledge Center training for team members, partners and bottlers 

    Qualifications & Requirements 

    • 3+ years of experience in Data or Analytics, Communications, Media, Public Affairs, Sustainability, Consumer Insights or Market Research 
    • Able to conceptualize frameworks and research models for diverse marketing and consumer insights problems 
    • Capable of tackling structured and unstructured problems while coordinating all phases of analysis from formulation to conclusions and recommendations 
    • Comfortable with large amounts of data and qualitative insights 
    • Clear and confident communicator and presenter  
    • Proven track record of using data to create strategic recommendations and narratives 
    • Experience working in networked, cross-functional and cross-geographical teams 

    Nice-To-Have Experience 

    • Knowledge of market research techniques  
    • Coca-Cola system knowledge and understanding of the dynamics of the soft drink industry  
    • Experience leveraging digital products and tools   
    • Prior experience working in multiple markets

    Coca-Cola Content Manager

    What you will do

    • Author and align key stakeholders to Integrated Marketing Experience (IMX) briefs.
    • Lead agency briefings for Consumer and Shopper content and identify innovative ways to measure the effectiveness of brand campaigns.
    • Provide guide adherence throughout the Integrated Marketing Experience process: (and when needed, evolution of) the strategy among internal teams and external agency partners; identify opportunities to bring consumer research and data into the process.
    • Help develop measurement plans to evaluate and optimize campaigns; foster a culture of collaboration that continually challenges and builds the brand team’s collective thinking.
    • Actively collaborate with the brand/category team to translate global/regional direction to Africa Operating Unit (where applicable) and to ensure that the strategy is relevant to consumers

    Education and Experience Requirement

    • Bachelor’s degree required. 
    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience working in a strategic marketing capacity
    • Experience working at and with world-class creative agencies and track record of inspiring big (ideally award-winning) creative thinking a plus.

    Forecasting & Scenario Planning Analyst

    About the role:

    This role provides advanced financial support to our business units to function efficiently and effectively, providing the financial understanding on which key decisions are made. By providing accurate analysis and revealing insights, we add value to core commercial processes and provide the support to our teams to continue innovating and driving results. We are looking for someone who is results-oriented and has a drive to develop and improve processes through digitalization.    

    What You’ll Do for Us 

    • Provide leadership, decision support, and analytical resources to deliver on strategic priorities for the division by developing monthly performance and forecasting that allows the business unit to achieve annual business plan.  
    • Develop and present financial analyses and manage P&L responsibility with insights to internal and external clients, identifying contingency plans and gap closures to mitigate risks and accelerate profitable growth. 
    • Maintain adherence to GAAP and compliance with quarterly deadlines and deliverables. 
    • Focus on identifying opportunities for digitization and driving efficiencies with systems and processes.   
    • Highly collaborative, adept and building value-based relationships with sales teams, cross-functional teams, and functional peers. 
    • Drives innovative business improvements by developing ideas and gaining others’ commitment, as well as seizes opportunities that can deliver the greatest value while promoting an environment of creative thinking and innovation.

    • Develops and implements scorecards and communication routines against key brands or initiatives. 

    Qualification & Requirements 

    • Bachelor’s degree Finance, Accounting or related field is required, Master’s degree is preferred  
    • 3-4 years of experience, ideally in Consumer-Packaged Goods industries  in financial planning or commercial roles
    • Must possess strong skills in all Microsoft Office applications, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills  
    • Knowledge of syndicated marketplace information & data (e.g., Nielsen) are required  
    • Strong data analytical skill is required; must be able to utilize Excel data warehouse by extracting key data and summarize with financial implications for management review 
    • Good knowledge in cost accounting is required 
    • Working knowledge of key internal data resources (e.g. Matrix, MRE, Margin Minder, EVC) is preferred  
    • Experience with collaborating and influencing cross-functional teams is needed
