    Executive Head: Legal Affairs TowerCo

    Role Purpose
    Responsible for delivering of sound legal advice and support on strategic legal matters for the TowerCo, ensuring sound support on commercial matters, negotiations and drafting of sound agreements.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include

    • Day-to-day responsibility for providing accurate, effective and timely legal advice, analysis and support at an expert level on complex commercial and contractual matters of significant strategic and/or financial value to Vodacom relating to the Towerco.
    • Keep business stakeholders updated and briefed on key projects and risk management
    • Review, play a lead role in negotiating and drafting related legal agreements.
    • Attend to all related contract legal issues.
    • Ensure at all legal matters are reported and managed in accordance with company governance requirements and processes, delegation of authority, and Group Code of Conduct
    • Actively participate in the broader Vodafone and Vodacom legal community to bring benefit from experience, expertise and synergies to Vodacom
    • Keep ME Legal Affairs and CO Legal and Regulatory informed /involved on major or complex issues.

    The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have
    Must have technical/professional qualifications and experience:

    • LLB Degree and admitted attorney with a minimum of 8 – 10 years post qualification experience.
    • Technical knowledge in financial services
    • Fluency in English is mandatory.
    • Experience in engaging with regulatory authorities.
    • Extensive commercial law, drafting and negotiation experience, with ability to provide innovative legal solutions in a fast moving industry.

    • Experienced commercial law attorney with some knowledge of the telecoms industry or related experience.
    • Understanding of the financial services sector (any of, banking, insurance, credit arrangements, payments systems)

    Specialist: Business Analysis

    Role Purpose

    • To ensure that user requirements for the business are documented, developed and delivered on, with specific focus on CRM & Provisioning.
    • Ensure the optimal and efficient performance of the Information Services Desk portfolio through the use of digital support tools, automation, governance and frameworks deployed within the company.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include

    • To perform business & systems analysis and design activities by assessing requirements in terms of feasibility, impact and cost, thereby assisting to create and compile accurate user requirement documents.
    • To provide technical input into system definition and design activities and facilitate the delivery of value-added solutions.
    • To perform business impact analysis & assessment of Product & Services and the impact on the Information Services Desk and supporting the Business.

    Specialist: Commercial Pricing and Analytics

    Role purpose:

    • To support the Consumer Business Unit (CBU) teams with respect to Prepaid, Postpaid and Fixed products.
    • To provide ad-hoc and ongoing analysis to support pricing reviews and frameworks in-line with overall business strategy.
    • To provide high-level financial models and collaborate with objective business functions to support product deployment, removal or adjustments.
    • To ensure all aspects of incumbent pricing frameworks or amendments thereto are being applied in other areas of the commercial business unit.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Specialist pricing and operations support to CBU teams  
    • Derive and communicate insights obtained from reporting and analytics
    • Support the various contract CBU teams with pricing related activities
    • Perform high level financial modelling
    • Review performance trends and identify opportunities on an on-going basis 
    • Determine and review price elasticity for products and services 
    • Assist with pricing frameworks and strategies based on supply & demand, costing, regulatory and competition factors 
    • Provide valuable pricing insights and analysis
    • Provide pricing input to detailed financial models and budget/forecasting processes
