    Information & Communication Technology Manager (ICT Manager) (Internal/ External Advert) Hay18/D3 (North West)

    Job purpose:

    • To manage and deliver an effective, secure and resilient Necsa Group’s ICT Infrastructure

    Key Performance Areas

    IT Infrastructure Management

    • Manage the provision of hardware and software systems ensuring maximum security, reliability, and availability.
    • Develop and implement an ITC Infrastructure Strategy that is it is fit-for-purpose and will enable business performance.
    • Develop an Asset Management Plan, and its Life Cycle (procurement, deployment, maintenance and disposal) in line with the corporate Asset Management Policies.
    • Develop the information and technical enterprise architecture and ensure that it is in line with best practices.
    • Develop and implement ICT Infrastructure standards, guidelines and operational procedures in line with best practices & legislative requirements.
    • Develop and implement the digital transformation plan.
    • Implement a plan to enable the organisation to integrate and deliver new innovative business services through user-friendly and smart methodologies.
    • Maintain all documentation for deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and problem-resolution activities & licensing.
    • Transform and Consolidate the ICT Infrastructure Service to the point where it can deliver a single seamless quality service across the Group.
    • Liaise with other functional managers and stakeholders to align Infrastructure Services with other processes and promote collaborative teamwork.

    Project Management

    • Manage the implementation of ICT infrastructure projects.
    • Ensure that the projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet the required quality requirements.
    • Provide meaningful support to the business and ensure that Information Technology is fully  leveraged as an enabler.
    • Develop and manage a continuous service improvement plan for IT in relation to the current trends and ensure continuous improvement in the service delivered
    • Ensure that ICT Infrastructure, solutions and systems are sourced and available as and when required by the business.
    • Ensure Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity & Change controls are in place
    • Monitor & provide progress reports as well as period Reports on all matters of the portfolio

    Risk & Change Management

    • Manage & Monitor systems access, review event logs, and report all suspicious activities.
    • Ensure that a change control plan is implemented and that all processes are adhered to.
    • Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity for the Infrastructure Service.
    • Implement SHEQ requirements and ensure compliance.
    • Ensure implementation and closure of all ICT infrastructure audit findings.

    Financial Sustainability & Recovery

    • Compile the ICT Infrastructure budget annually in line with business requirements and present it for approval by management,
    • Manage infrastructure finance and procurement in line with IT Operational Plan against approved budget.
    • Report on it monthly so as to ensure adherence to the approved budget.
    • Manage cost recoveries for services rendered to internal and external clients.

    People Management

    • Ensure that all staff is trained, skilled and that their expertise is optimally applied so as to ensure a positive and productive working environment with healthy staff morale.
    • Grow, mentor and upskill the team on technical and management skills.
    • Communicate department goals and procedures to team members.
    • Identify and resolve team conflict and eliminate challenges & obstacles affecting performance and morale.
    • Carry out ongoing personnel management exercises to measure the set output and deliverables in line with Necsa Performance Management (contract & policy).

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • A National Diploma or Degree in IT related field
    • 6-8 years’ experience in an ICT environment of which three years should have been at the senior level with a proven track record of maintaining & maintaining ICT Infrastructure.

    Committee Secretary Hay Level 13/C2 (Internal/External advert) (North West)

    Job Purpose:

    • To support and assist in carrying out administrative duties relating to Operational Committees meetings and to perform general office administration as required.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Secretariat Function

    • Fulfil functions on Operational Committees, prepare and distribute the necessary information/packs and meeting agendas in advance for meetings
    • Compile Operational meeting agendas in consultation with the chairpersons of the Operational committees
    • Ensure the successful delivery of all Operational meetings packs.
    • Ensure accurate recording of minutes and timeous circulation to the Operational Committee Members.
    • Timeous compilation and circulation of action items; following up on action items for presentation for the next meeting.
    • Facilitate, finalise and file round robin resolutions accordingly.
    • Act as Committee support for EXCO and Workings Committees; and communicate decisions from EXCO for Board submission
    • Attend to assigned Operational Committees, take minutes when required and fulfil all reasonably expected administrative functions relating to the position

    General Administration

    • Logistical arrangements for relevant supporting committee meetings (booking the room, arranging equipment and arranging with IT to set up Boardroom)
    • Load the agenda and supporting documents on the CoSec shared point System
    • Record keeping and maintaining a secure electronic and hard copy of minutes in the minute book
    • Maintain the electronic and hard copy filing of all committee documentation.
    • Handle internal stakeholder queries and deal with correspondence
    • Keep up-to-date Operational committee membership and attendance registers
    • Manage monthly departmental meetings and minutes
    • Other general administrative duties in support of the Assistant Company Secretary and related tasks or areas of responsibility as and when required

    Logistics Coordinator (Hay level 13/C2) (Internal and External) (North

     KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS 

    Receiving of Goods

    • Receive deliveries from the suppliers and ensuring that accurate quantities of products are received by comparing appropriate paperwork
    • Generate GRV (good receiving voucher)
    • Solving of queries from various parties within required timeframe. (Vendors, Requesters, Creditors, Management etc.)
    • Inspect goods for Quality, Quantity, Correctness
    • Weigh Vehicles at Weighbridge

    Administration and Filing

    Job Profile:

    • To manage production and welding within Nuclear Manufacturing.

    Key Performance Areas:                     

    • Implement and run an affective production and capacity schedule for the shop floor.
    • Supply reliable and credible input to the quotations and procurement planning process.
    • Manage the logistics, transport and rigging for subcontracted work and the collection of materials and items.
    • Manage equipment maintenance, suitability and replacement of ageing equipment.

    Requirements

    • a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a workshop boiler making, welding and developing in a manufacturing environment, of which at least 5 years at a supervisory level.

                                         OR

    • Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Metallurgy/ Industrial) and ASME Codes of Construction and the National Board Inspection Code Diploma; with
    • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a workshop boiler making, welding and developing in a manufacturing environment, of which at least 5 years at a supervisory level

    Experience: 

    • Plus experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques.
    • Plus experience of process improvement techniques.
