    Material Controller - Lanseria

    WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING

    • Control finished goods, raw and packaging material in and out of the
    • Production, physically and systematically.
    • Prepare and complete all relevant documentation accurately and neatly
    • Check finished goods stock issued from production
    • Manage all stock for the production department
    • Operate the forklift
    • Supply machinery with raw material
    • Capture stock movements on stock control system
    • Move stock physically between locations when required.
    • Abide by FIFO regulations at all times
    • Issuing of product / printing of labels
    • Assist with count stock during cycle counts and stock takes and reconcile counts when doing variance investigations
    • Support production activities
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures as per the standard operating procedures regarding Safety, Health, Environmental, and House Keeping
    • Ensure on-going awareness on SHE related issues
    • Ensure that department’s housekeeping standards are adhere too
    • Responsible to report any risks identified for Quality and Food Safety
    • Management when food contact product is produced in the plant.

    WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT

    • Grade 12 essential and / or equivalent
    • Knowledge of stock control principles
    • Knowledge of all relevant company policies and standard operating procedures
    • Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime if/when required
    • Physically able to carry out this function for a shift
    • Computer literacy essential

    Shift Supervisor ISBM - JHB

    WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING

    • Guarantee the optimal workload.
    • Guarantee the products are generated and packaged according to the specifications and planned amounts.
    • Exact documentation of all relevant production data to guarantee a successful information exchange at the shift change over.
    • Changing of production orders according to planning.
    • Producing a quality product in a safe and efficient method.
    • Verifying that correct production materials are used, i.e. raw resin, colour, labels and corrugate.
    • Accurate and timely production figure reporting.
    • Additional tasks as assigned by Manager.
    • Organization of direct and indirect materials (raw material, regrind, master batch, packaging, pallets etc.).
    • Active implementation of compliance with the quality management regulations like hygiene, safety engineering, environmental and fire safety

    • Grade 12
    • May be required to stand for long periods of time
    • Work in a team environment and have leadership qualities
    • Handle pressure & meet deadlines
    • Motivate, delegate and supervise production staff
    • Interpersonal and relationship building skills

    • Required to work in noisy area most of the time.

    Machine Operator ISBM - JHB

    WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING
    Overall line responsibility from production to packaging:

    • Start / Stop the machine
    • Monitor material control
    • Perform regular quality control throughout the shift and visual quality checks
    • Prepare machine for mould change
    • Ensure goods are produced in correct quantity and in accordance with agreed specifications
    • Accurately record goods produced and problems encountered during shift

    Assist Machine Operator II/Shift Supervisor/Mould Change Team with mould/colour changes as needed

    • Ensure team works together as efficiently as possible
    • Maintain good housekeeping in and around the machine and within department
    • Oversee daily production, supports the plant engineers to ensure machines run efficiently
    • Assist the Production Manager in implementing required training for Machine Operators
    • •Responsible for Quality and Food Safety Management when food contact product is produced in the plant. To report any risks identified.
    • Ensure on-going awareness of Quality, Food Safety, Environmental and Health and Safety Management

    WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT

    • Matric/ Grade 12 or equivalent with Mathematics, is preferred
    • Technical/mechanical background in Plastics Industry preferred
    • Basic computer skills
    • Demonstrated mechanical ability
    • Must have flexible work availability

    Machine Setter ISBM - JHB

    WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING

    • Ensure all assigned machines are operating safely, efficiently and reliably, according to recommended operating guidelines
    • Ensure quality product is being produced at all times
    • Ensure process is optimized to the fullest extent
    • Ensure all raw materials required are available and defect free before being put into machine
    • Monitor and report inconsistencies in above areas for all shifts not worked
    • Should be able to make minor repairs to moulders
    • Assist the Production Manager in implementing required training for Machine Operators
    • Supervise orderliness, cleanliness and working order of the assigned machines and tools
    • Responsible to report any risks identified for Quality and Food Safety Management where food contact product is produced in the plant.
    • Ensure on-going awareness of Quality, Food Safety, Environmental and Health and Safety Management

    WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT

    • Technical qualification and good experience in plastic processing
    • Matric/ grade 12
    • Experienced in ISBM, mechanic or electric/electronic systems
    • Able to work in a team environment
    • Able to train technical personnel
    • Effectively manages time as a resource; gives balanced attention to appropriate long-term and short-term priorities
    • Must have flexible work availability
    • Able to prioritize, plan and execute duties with minimal supervision
    • Excellent communication skills in local language and English
