    PERMANENT PART-TIMER JOB PURPOSE

    • Assist management in day-to-day store maintenance while providing excellent service and observing and maintaining all store policies and procedures.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Ensures the highest level of adidas service is given to each customer.
    • As needed, completes any regular sales transactions involving cash, credit, checks, etc.
    • Involved indirectly with ticketing of products as well as checking paperwork against items received.
    • Assists in product flow from stockroom to sales floor on a fill in basis.
    • Assists in the development of displays of merchandise or follow suggestions or schedules provided by the store management team.
    • Attain proficiency with the point-of-sale system by acquiring system utilization skills. Ensure integrity is maintained through attention to policy and procedure.

    In-store Trainer- Sandton

    Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

    • To provide a business partner service to the Halo Store Manager, Operations Store Manager, and store team to deliver all business training projects on time and in full in collaboration with the Global and GCC Training function to ensure excellence in execution.
    • To lead training and development in the store by providing a best in class onboarding and training program to ensure employees are fully knowledgeable in all areas of their role

    Key Responsibilities: Training

    • Plan, drive, and support the implementation of all Retail training programs and platforms (i.e Connect, Engage, Inspire (CEI), Every Moment Matters, AREA, ATTICUS, Seasonal Product Learning, etc) by creating and/or leading inspiring and engaging workshops for the store team to ensure successful execution in the store.
    • Plan, drive and support the implementation of specific Halo store training programs by creating, leading, and/or coordinating inspiring and engaging workshops for store team members, aligned with subject matter experts and stakeholders
    • Collaborate with the GCC Sales Academy to ensure best practice and compliance when delivering training initiatives and provide feedback on content and implementation of training programs to ensure cluster, market, and global alignment.
    • Create a professional, high performance culture by upskilling, coaching and supporting in-store trainer(s), Halo Store Management Team, and subject specialists in stores to deliver best in class training standards through effective communications methods (ie. training sessions, online tools, training tools, Thinktime, etc.)
    • Partner with and the Halo Store Manager, Operations Store Manager, Retail Back Office Stakeholders, and Human Resources (HR) to support employees that require additional training support (i.e., under-performing, new stores teams members, etc.)
    • Consistently analyse and evaluate the training programs and implement changes where appropriate to ensure engagement and understanding of the topic by the recipient
    • Ensure all employees receive the relevant Health and Safety Training within the store in collaboration with Operations and Profit Protection.
    • Analyse and measure training delivered to ensure implementation and learning is successful and embedded. Onboarding
    • Plan and implement engaging and effective onboarding programs for new joiners to the business in alignment with the Halo Store Manager, Operations Store Manager, and Retail Back Office
    • Drive the highest level of follow-through and accountability around functional capabilities development (ie AREA). Talent Development
    • Partner with the Halo Store Manager and Operations Store Manager in planning and implementation of #MYBEST, including coaching, feedback, 90 Day Plan, and training plan support
    • Partner with the Halo Store Manager in providing support on resources, techniques, and approaches for talent management within the store on a case by case basis

    Deputy Store Manager- Gateway

    PURPOSE

    Ensure that overall sales and profitability goals for the store are met by:

    • Providing training to all associates.
    • Assisting the store manager in the development of staff in compliance with adidas retail growth objectives.
    • Overseeing the daily operation of the store and assuring compliance with adidas retail policy and procedure.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES It includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Supports the store manager by implementing and maintaining a staff structure that minimizes payroll expenses and increases productivity,
    • Assists the store manager by evaluating employees’ performance on a day-to-day basis
    • Perform or assist in the completion of all documentation associated with applicants, new hires, payroll.
    • Effectively utilize customer service, training, educational tools, and communication to develop staff in relation to adidas retail goals.
    • Maintains personnel files to company standards.
    • Assure adherence to all company systems and procedures.
    • Maintain confidentiality of adidas retail operating information.
    • Assure compliance with legal statutes and safety guidelines in overall management of store and associates.
    • Obtains the necessary skills, experience, and training from daily interaction with store management and outside training to develop necessary skills to assure promotability to the next level.
    • Assure adherence to adidas retail visual presentation guidelines.
    • Implements the security procedures set forth by adidas head office including, but not limited to shrinkage control, and safety inspections.
    • As needed, assists in the development of merchandising, advertising and promotional programs to help meet the sales and marketing goals of the store.
    • Resolves customer complaints.
    • Assists in maintaining inventory levels by communicating with the store manager overages and shortages of product.
    • Assists the store manager to implement and maintain management systems for planning, organization, and controlling and auditing store operations.

    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.

    OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Ability to use MS word, excel, outlook, and point of sale systems.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
