    Office Co-Ordinator - Woodmead

    Job Description    

    • Assist and co-ordinate facilities administrative activities to ensure maximum performance and compliance with all policies and procedures.
    • Assist in administering financial records & systems.
    • Ensure efficient & effective administrative procedures are maintained, producing appropriate records, reports, financial & statistical information.
    • Manage and update facilities helpdesk, allocate tasks to relevant parties, track progress & provide feedback to requestor.
    • Manage and coordinate on-site soft service operational and administrative duties and assist to deliver efficient and effective Facilities Management services and to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
    • Assist in managing front-of-house duties & relieve the Receptionist when required.
    • Coordinate boardroom/meeting room reservations and obtain catering quotes when required and ensure meeting rooms and boardrooms are set up for meetings.
    • Co-ordinate all functions and events as required.
    • Ensure compliance of Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and procedures and report promptly of any workplace injuries to the facilities manager and/or head of facilities.
    • Collate monthly visitor stats for inclusion in report to SHE Department.
    • Update monthly motor vehicle registration list of employees.
    • Report any non-functional equipment to relevant parties.
    • Be able to liaise with people on all levels.
    • Perform ad hoc tasks as requested.

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Matric.
    • Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in an office administration, Switchboard Operator, or maintenance at a corporate environment.
    • Advantageous: Diploma in relevant field.
    • Advantageous: experience in SAP.
    • Advantageous: experience working in facilities management environment
    • Computer literacy.
    • Neat, professional and a pleasant disposition – fit into a corporate environment.

    Maintenance / Handyman - Woodmead

    Job Description    

    • Maintenance AECI Head Office – To deal with minor electrical repairs and fixings.
    • Regularly check internal areas for any potential danger to people on site.
    • To assist with minor plumbing including unblocking sinks and drains etc.
    • Responsible for all planned preventative maintenance on site, including but not limited to proactive and reactive work.
    • Daily safety inspections and fault reporting.
    • Relief driver.
    • Other facilities related duties as required management.

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Matric / Grade 12 or NQF equivalent.

    Job Description    

    • Custodian of Safety -works – through adhering to SMI Safety Policies and local regulatory requirements
    • Operates the process computer-controlled equipment when required.
    • Maintains routine contact with customer personnel regarding quantity and quality needs.

    Distribution Manager - Modderfontein

    Job Description    

    • Manage the operating expense budget for distribution and warehousing.
    • Set the capital budget, track operating and capital expenditures against budget and put actions in place to reduce expenditure.
    • Actively participate in the cross-functional meetings and report on stock shortages, slow moving and obsolete stocks
    • Oversee operations in terms of stock, transport, security and all other logistics to ensure on time in full delivery.
    • Conduct root cause analysis and identify resolutions.

    Sustainability Analyst - Modderfontein

    Job Description    

    • Devising methods reporting and analysing data collection for Carbon factor calculations, GHG reporting, resource efficiency.
    • Monitor reporting standards and best practice including the Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and other UK and EU specific requirements.
    • Carbon Footprint reporting, gathering and validating emission factors.
    • Support country teams in developing sustainability and community engagement communication tools.
    • Provides actionable overall market and customer insights to address strategic questions.
    • Presenting Technical Reports based on collection and analysis.
    • To manage the sustainability reporting, integrated reporting and thinking area in so far as influencing the standards and legislation, keeping members abreast of the latest developments, providing technical support to members and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Assist with compilation of the annual ESG report.
    • Coordinate the work of team and follow up on progress of the engagement.
    • Identifying, researching and helping to resolve sustainability reporting and assurance issues.
    • Analysis and review corporate reporting by clients, including compliance with existing and emerging regulation (such as NFRD, CSRD, EU Taxonomy).
    • Experience in performing ESG tasks associated with global reporting.
    • Collaborating with partners & clients to influence their approach to ESG and integration into their business strategy, balancing risk and client expectations.
    • Understanding of the key sustainability (e.g. environmental, energy, carbon management, etc.) issues and drivers and how they link to business and long-term value creation.

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Matric
    • National Dimploma or Degree in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, Accounting
    • 6-8 years experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment having been involved with environment management systems.
    • Environmental related courses (Environmental Law, ISO 14001 implementation and management, Waste management, etc.)
    • Sound knowledge of all laws pertaining to environmental management.
    • Working experience on ISO14001 is essential.
