    Specialist: EUC Switch and WI-FI LAN Engineer X3

    Key Responsibility Areas 

    • Infrastructure Management 
    • Maintenance of Network Devices.

    Qualifications and Experience 

    • Minimum: 3 years Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT / NQF level 6. 
    • Relevant ICT related certifications (CCNA Routing and Switching, CCNA Wireless, HCNA or HWNA). Relevant ICT related certifications (ITIL, CCNP or HCNP) will be an added advantage.

    Senior Business Analyst

    Key Responsibility Areas 

    • Manage team/s to ensure effective and efficient operations and that all the resources are utilised optimally. This must be done in accordance with SITA Policy Framework. 
    • Manage, develop and implement Architectural and Governance mechanisms for the Requirements Analysis and Design section to improve interoperability of government systems and quality of services and deliverables. 
    • Manage business analysis and design projects spanning multiple environments to ensure that it is successfully delivered. 
    • Manage and develop business analysis and design work packages for integrated software components, taking into consideration SITAs software development stack and doing this in accordance with ICT standards and the enterprise architecture for Government.

    Qualifications and Experience 

    • Minimum: 3 year National Higher Diploma / National First Degree in an ICT related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering) or equivalent qualification. 
    • Experience:6 -7 years’ experience in the ICT field, including IT Governance, IT Planning, systems design / procurement, and implementation of integrated solutions across multiple hardware and software platforms with management and operational responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organisation including experience in business analysis, business process management and business process engineering/reengineering experience in business modelling experience in business architecture and experience in integrated solution designs.

    Consultant ICT Governance

    Key Responsibility Areas 

    • Define and maintain the Governance Framework - Analyse and define the ICT Governance requirements; establish and maintain governance components with clear roles and responsibilities to achieve the enterprise’s mission, goals and objectives. 
    • Define and maintain the IT Management framework: Design the management system for IT in the enterprise based on enterprise goals and other design factors; and advise (consult) on the implementation of all required components of the IT management system. 
    • Effective management of Service Level Agreements to meet customer business requirements.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Certification: ISACA COBIT Certificate 
    • Experience : 8-years experience in the ICT field, of which a minimum of 2 years in ICT Governance, ICT Strategy and Planning or ICT Strategic Management. The ICT field may include ICT Governance, ICT Strategy and Planning, Enterprise Architecture, ICT solution or infrastructure development, ICT procurement, ICT Management, ICT operations/service delivery, in a corporate or public sector organisation. COBIT 5/2019, King IV on Corporate Governance, ISO/IEC 38500, ICT Governance; Enterprise Architecture; Human Resource Management; Financial Management; ICT Procurement practices; ICT Security; ICT Standards; Legislative environment and IT Legislation; e-Government; Broadband/Network; Cloud Computing; Commercial and Open Source.

    Solution Architect X2

    Key Responsibility Areas 

    • Support lines of business in developing and implementing solutions strategies and roadmaps to ensure a comprehensive and integrated government ICT ecosystem. 
    • Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of governance and monitor the adherence there deliver quality products in a controlled environment.

    • Experience: 6 - 7 years in the ICT field, including solution analysis, development and architecture with leadership, general management, operational responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organization including 4 years’ experience in solution analysis, development and architecture for the development, implementation and maintenance/enhancements of ICT systems within the corporate/public sector, including: Strategic thinking and leadership abilities; Successfully developed and implemented applications; Demonstrated project management competency and the execution of multiple projects, including managing resources across multiple projects; and Developed efficient and effective IT solutions to diverse and complex business problems. 3 years’ experience in solution design and modelling including Solution design translating business requirements into proposed solutions within both the existing and planned future ICT landscape, Conceptual solution models; Logical solution models; Physical solution models; and Solution architecture documentation describing the design and models.

    Admin Assistant

    Key Responsibility Areas 

    • Receive and record incoming and outgoing correspondence to ensure proper record keeping for the sub department. 
    • Prepare and distribute minutes, presentations as well as general office documentation/communication to ensure that information reached relevant identified parties. 
    • Perform general office duties. 
    • Arrange worksessions and staff meetings with employees and coordinate all logistical arrangements for the sub department. 
    • Responsible for the accommodation and flight arrangements for the sub division in accordance with SITA travelling policy and procedures to the satisfaction of the division. 
    • Provide management support to the sub departmental Budget

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Experience : 1 – 2 years experience applicable to the specified discipline.

    Key Responsibility Areas 

    • Consults with clients (Govt Departments) management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access to improve interoperability of government systems and quality of services and deliverables

    • Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in business analysis, business process management and business process engineering/reengineering. Including experience in business modelling. experience in business architecture.

    End User Computing Technician X3

    Key Responsibility Areas 

    • Provide first and second level LAN & desktop support. 
    • Install and configure new IT equipment. 
    • Implementation, customisation and maintenance of the remote software deployment. 
    • Provide support to the enterprise’s local IT and software resources. 
    • Provide LAN & desktop advisory services to clients. 

    Qualifications and Experience 

    • Minimum: Grade 12 PLUS National Higher Certificate in IT (NQF Level 5) with A+/N+ either as a subject of the Certificate OR as a separate certification (expiry irrelevant). 
    • Experience: At least one-year corporate experience in the Service Management / End User Support Environment, OR Call Centre Agent experience with 1 – 2 years relevant experience in the End User Computing services and related LAN Infrastructures Services. Maintenance and support service of the End User Computing Services relating to all LAN Infrastructure Services such as servers, desktops, LAN cabling, switches and other LAN peripherals. Maintenance and support to ensure the availability of the services according to prescribed procedures, policies, standards and SLA’s. Ensure the resolution of hardware and software service requests, incidents and problem within End User Computing and all related LAN infrastructure.

    Admin: Functional Application Support

    Key Responsibility Areas 

    • Troubleshoot calls logged on a call logging system on faults reported by clients, using the particular application to ensure the availability of the application. 
    • Do functional user acceptance/system testing under supervision against the test plan to ensure functionality of the application 
    • Provide advisory services to users about the application systems functionality with support and supervision to ensure optimal functionality of applications. 
    • Update relevant user procedure manuals/Online Help and/or equivalent documentation under supervision to ensure accurate information on the application is available to the user. 
    • Update systems user manuals with enhanced functionalities and business rules and provide ad-hoc training to users on the enhanced systems functionalities. 
    • Provide specialise system training to users on new and existing systems. 
    • Provide Information Support to clients and supervisors.  

    Qualifications and Experience 

    • Minimum: 1 – 2-year National Certificate in EDTP/IT related field on NQF level 5. 
    • Experience: 3 - 4 years in Functional Application Support and training experience.
