Purpose of the job

• To provide Functional Application Support services related to specific clients and application systems according to service elements as specified in the applicable service level agreements.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Implement functional system enhancements / changes in accordance with client request
• Provide Integrated Management information support solutions to clients and management; and

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum: 3-year National Diploma / Degree in an ICT related field or equivalent qualification - at least NQF level 6 or a verified / certified alternative equivalent @ NQF Level 6. Candidates with Grade 12 that have 7 – 8 years Functional Application Support experience on the specific DOD OSIS application may apply.
• Experience: 7 - 8 years Functional Application Support experience on the specific OSIS application.

Technical Competencies Description

• Has a thorough knowledge of business aspects of the application(s) and of technical aspects of the application system(s) as well as the hardware and software environment in which they run. Knowledge of the organisation’s policy framework, management structures and reporting procedures for all aspects of the Functional Application Support environment. Thorough knowledge of product and solution development; systems integration; user and functional system testing; government strategies, intergovernmental relations and entity relationship diagrams will be required. Has experience of working on projects and of communicating with users on technical issues. Applicant should possess good problem-solving ability in order to resolve application problems quickly, costeffectively and to work under pressure. Understanding of the relationship between time, quality and cost of work produced and the ability to manage the time/quality/cost relationship. Ability to communicate the time/quality/cost relationship to clients, subordinates and the ability to estimate jobs. Understanding of software configuration management. Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills. successful candidate should also possess the following behavioural Competencies: Leadership ability, customer service orientated, innovative, team player, pro-active, diligent worker, process orientated and punctual.

Purpose of the job

• To gather and interpret business requirements, design, plan and implement technical solutions to ensure sustainability of the SITA next generation network (NGN) architecture, and to ensure secure and resilient delivery of all Network Technology Strategy services in accordance with various service level commitments.

Key Responsibility Area

• Design, plan, implement, and sustain the Converged Communication infrastructure architecture in order to ensure technical performance, availability and stability.
• Ensure sustainability in service delivery for Converged Communication provisioning technology architecture.
• Coordinate procurement of converged communication services or goods.
• Interact with various technology vendors to gather, benchmark, and develop complete technical specifications with required quality.
• Conduct industry research and build a business rational for introducing new technology or technology enhancements.
• Conduct research and benchmark when designing and implementing technical solutions.
• Facilitate the implementation of new or enhancement technology.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum: 3-year National Diploma/Degree in IT or Engineering related field (Computer Science, Computer Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering (L/C) - at least NQF level 6 or a verified / certified alternative equivalent @ NQF Level 6. CCNP or CCDP plus CCIE Written Exam and TOGAF will be an added advantage. SDN competency is also highly desirable.
• Experience: 7 - 8 years’ experience in the provision of ICT solutions, within a Large Enterprise, Service Provider, or Public Sector environment.

Purpose of the job

• To provide PMO/project/programme administrative support services throughout the programme/project/service life cycle.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Provide Project Office Coordination and support in order to ensure smooth running of the project.
• Assist with administrative project activities, including meeting arrangements risk management updates, issue management updates and quality control.
• Project documentation configuration support.
• Provide administrative support the PM to ensure the execution of the project against the prescribed SITA project management methodology.
• Monitor the projects financial expenditure and revenue.

Qualifications and Experience

• Required Qualification: Minimum Matric and a Certificate in Project management (NQF level 4).
• Certifications: Prince 2 Foundation and/or CAPM Certification and/or Agile PM Foundation.
• Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years' working experience in a project/program management environment, including 1-year project administration and support.

Technical Competencies Description

• Knowledge of: Public sector / Government organization; Information Technology management; ICT Services; Project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile PM and/or Prince 2). Computer Literacy: SITA Business Planning system (BPS), Oracle ERP; Project Schedule Management (PSM); Oracle Time & Labour (OTL); MS Office; MS Projects. Technical competencies: Business Writing, Customer Relationship Management, General Administration, IT Project Management, and Project/Programme Management. Interpersonal/behavioural competencies: Active listening, Attention to Detail, Analytical thinking, Disciplined, Resilience, and Stress Management.

Purpose of the job

• To lead the design, development, testing, implementation, debugging, documentation, release, maintenance and enhancement of integrated software applications, in accordance with ICT standards and the enterprise architecture for Government.

Key Responsibility Area

• Lead the development of functional requirements that articulate clear and concise project deliverables that are compatible with user expectations.
• Deliver feasibility and cost-benefit analysis, including choice of application architecture to enhance the overall application development process.
• Lead, and execute complex software development and customisation projects spanning multiple environments to ensure that it is successfully delivered.
• Lead, and develop/ customise complex applications services solutions by studying information needs; consulting with clients, studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle using SITAs software development stack/ development framework.
• Lead and execute maintenance of integrated IT software components using SITAs software development stack/ development framework.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum: 3 – 4 year National Diploma / Degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science /Information Technology or relevant qualification equivalent to NQF Level 6. A post graduate qualification OR Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science /Information Technology or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 OR 8 Will be an added advantage.
• Certification: Vendor certification for applications will be an added advantage.
• Experience: A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the ICT field, including IT Governance, IT Planning, systems development/procurement, implementation and maintenance/enhancements of integrated solutions across multiple hardware and software platforms with senior operational responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organisation including:
• Extensive experience in software development in multiple platforms.
• Extensive experience within Applications Technical solution design in multiple business domains.
• Extensive Experience in integration.
• Extensive experience in data management.
• The following experience will be an added advantage;
• Experience in DevOps and Agile Methodologies. Experience in applications modernisation. CRM Dynamics, ASP.Net Core, C# and Angular JS. Comprehensive knowledge and experience with one or more of the major database systems, SQL Server, MySQL,Oracle ,etc. Comprehensive Team – working experience. Strong knowledge of sources control and version tools such as Git and CI/CD.
