• You will lead the Injection Moulding Department, ensuring smooth planning, implementation, and operation.
• This role includes supporting the project team with the design and manufacture of injection moulds, assembly automation, and jigs and fixtures.
• You will manage all aspects of local tooling, from project inception to end of life, including performing audits on the facility, moulds, jigs, and equipment.
• Essential that you are a certified Toolmaker with 7+ years of experience in plastics injection moulding machines and processes.
• Proficiency in programs such as SolidWorks, Edgecam, or Mastercam is essential.
• The role requires in-depth knowledge of plastic injection tooling, CNC programming, CAD drawing, and mould repair and maintenance.
• Experience in hot runner systems, process improvement, budget control, and managing teams is key, along with a strong understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

• You will be responsible for the design, manufacture, and maintenance of tooling to support production processes, ensuring compliance with customer deadlines.
• This role involves the fabrication of new tools, jigs, and templates, along with the modification and repair of moulds, utilising a strong understanding of fine tolerances, material specifications, and heat treatment processes.
• You will possess over 5 years of hands-on experience, a certified Toolmaker qualification, and proficiency in CNC programming using Mastercam, SolidWorks, and Edgecam.
• In-depth knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, plastic injection molding, and workflow systems is essential.
• You will also be expected to exhibit strong technical expertise in mould fault finding, repairs, and modifications while demonstrating leadership in managing teams, improving processes, and controlling budgets to optimise toolroom operations.
