You will be responsible for the design, manufacture, and maintenance of tooling to support production processes, ensuring compliance with customer deadlines.
This role involves the fabrication of new tools, jigs, and templates, along with the modification and repair of moulds, utilising a strong understanding of fine tolerances, material specifications, and heat treatment processes.
You will possess over 5 years of hands-on experience, a certified Toolmaker qualification, and proficiency in CNC programming using Mastercam, SolidWorks, and Edgecam.
In-depth knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, plastic injection molding, and workflow systems is essential.
You will also be expected to exhibit strong technical expertise in mould fault finding, repairs, and modifications while demonstrating leadership in managing teams, improving processes, and controlling budgets to optimise toolroom operations.
